SO what's the best bets for your top 5 future classics from 1990 till now.
Suzuki TL1000S (nick name the widow maker)
Yam TRX 850 because it dared to be different.
Suzuki Bandit 1200 mk1
Yam XJR1300SP
Yam R1, the early ones, best looking sports bike ever ( just my opinion)

After dropping my Fazer. Side stand malfunction down to me not fully extending it :'( I was lucky enough not to damage too much. The bars bent and only just touched the tank. Tiny chip out of the paint and bent lever. Few scratches to the fairing and gen cover but no cracks. I should be able to fill and touch up.
I managed to get some 758 bars for £30 off fleebay. What a difference in the ride! Really feels tons better and not sure if it's the bars or the confidence it has given me but I swear the front end is lighter! That wheel likes to come up!

Just been blocking the exhaust holes on the AIS, and ran into an issue on the last one (number 4) - the stub thing the AIS pipe attaches to is broken, half if it is on the engine and the other half is still fastened to the AIS pipe.
Will chemical metal block the remnants of the hole and stand the exhaust temperature?
Cheers

I went out to do the picture challenge today with the aim of getting the lovely village sign at Biddenden. I decided to stop off along the way with the intention of getting all the signs on the way and making a montage. Sadly I got as far as Sutton Vallance. I pulled off the road, parked up on the path and took the photo. Back on the bike, decided to paddle the bike across the grass verge back onto the road and sadly the front wheel slipped when it touched the grass and down we went at the grand speed of 1mph. I've snapped the wing mirror, but that needed replacing anyway. The indicator popped out, no biggy. But I've reopened an old repair on the fairing :'(
All this comes at the end of a shit week where me and the missus were discussing how the foc we're going to afford the next 3 months with a barage of big bills. :'( The bike will have to wait a fair while to be repaired now, I suspect next year from a financial point of view, it's always been a luxuary for me, other bills take priority, sadly.

Promoto
Wilbers
Hyperpro
Ohlins
All recommend progressive for the road and linear for the track - makes sense
Are these springs all of good quality and relatively equal?
