Purchased by me 100% standard and I've done approx. 1500 miles and spent a few quid but having to give up biking temporarily (I hope) so going down to one bike in the garage (a Fox-eye 600).
£2750 Fixed price, no offers please - 2 similar 2005 year & condition bikes for sale are £3100 private and £3500 in a garage. Pm me to swap phone numbers if interested so we can have a chat, old fashioned I know, and I can send any pictures. Bike is in County Durham. Free cup of coffee and custard cream if you buy my bike.
Kind of on the scrounge a little bit. I'm the main child minder during holidays & don't drive. The nipper is big & sensible enough to go on the bike, I've got her all the right gear but I want to put a top box on so she has something to lean against. Got a box but no rack for the bike. It a 600FZS 1998.
Does anyone have a spare kicking about they'd be willing to donate, or going real cheap since I'm practically broke right now.

I've got a first registered 2004, but 2003 build year FZ6 I believe and the speedo has stopped working, would this model have the front wheel rotator sensor that the lugs snap off on or am I into an ECU fault!?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Hi guys i just bought a 2003 fazer 600 at the moment its a none runner due to being under a cover for three years its silver and the owner said that it had blown over in the wind once so fairing has been damaged if anyone has one i would be interested in it also is it ok to fit a 120 section front tyre ?
Hi I met up with a friend who has the exact same bike as me and I was amazed at how much smoother and quieter his engine was, I don't know what to do to mine to make it sound so good. Mine "chugs" a bit on tickover and there is a rattle coming from below the camshaft. The thing is, mines only done 10,000 miles and his has done over 40k. I know my carb rubbers were replaced last year. Regular oil changes etc. Standard exhaust (he has aftermarket sports)
Sorry if this seems a dumb question, hoping someone has had the same problem.
All of the above are in very good condition. If anyone is interested in buying any of the above, then please pm me, happy to forward photo's details etc.
just dropped the oil on my very much abused bike (separate thread), a lot of water condensation in it as expected.
Will running cheap mineral car oil for around 100 miles cause any issues? I want to use it as a flush before changing again to a decent motorcycle spec oil?
Been thinking
As in the news with no more new internal combustion cars by 2020 or whatever it was, im sure the same will apply to bikes - also its not like we are going to have a choice but I like the violence and the noise and heat and the smell of a petrol bike. Even if the electric or hydrogen power cell is going to be a faster smoother exhilaration i will still miss the noise and smell and heat.
