TCP Undertray for Fazer FZS1000 - DPBMC
Posted by: Falcon 269 - 17-08-17, 05:24 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (3)

For sale, TCP Aerodynamics undertray for FZS1000 in DPBMC (fastest) blue.  Good condition overall.  The mounting lug for the rear brake reservoir cracked so I fitted an HRC tube-type reservoir instead.  This is included in the sale together with the mounting bracket for the indicators and number plate.

Looking for £60 including shipping to UK mainland address.  Apologies for the less than informative photo but I'm away from home and it's the only one of my bike I could find online. Smile

More info and a small photo on page 11 of this old TCP catalogue pdf:

Oxford Heated Grips for sale SOLD
Posted by: tomjimtom - 17-08-17, 04:27 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

Hi,
Selling my heated grips, tested prior to removal and they work perfectly.
They've covered about 10,000 miles on the bike and I have had the control module replaced under warranty. They are about 5 years old.

I had them installed as per the guide written on this site, through the fuse box, so the kit doesn't have a ring connector for the positive wire - will have to be soldered in.

£20 including postage.

Now sold! Thanks all for the interest

SOLD: Scottoiler for FZS600 Gen1 Boxeye
Posted by: kawasutra - 17-08-17, 10:47 AM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

No longer own the bike and had taken it off. Buyer of bike was not interested in having it so surplus to needs.

I have just the scottoiler, no packaging or shiny manuals, but there's an instructional pdf somewhere I can dig out and email.

eBay gives an approximate price for a new one of £90, but I'm happy to let this one go for £30 plus postage. Paypal cost on buyer.

I'm in NW London area if someone wanted to collect, not far from Ace Cafe.

  Stick coil mod
Posted by: solorider - 17-08-17, 10:34 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (3)

a couple of years a go I did a stick coil mod on my bike because of a misfire, one thing I can say is I won't go back to the old type coils as there is more space on top and the cam cover looks neater. I had to recently replace one of my coils due to someone cutting the wires to one and stealing it!! I was lucky in that I found an already modified harness off eBay that looks better than my original. I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

  Chinese radiators
Posted by: solorider - 17-08-17, 10:29 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - No Replies

last year I bought a radiator from china, that turned up in a week, well I have now fitting it at last as I'm rebuilding my bike ground up, if anyone is considering them I can say the bracket are more flimsy, i.e. Thinner, the end covers fitted ok as did the fan, but the radiator grille was a bit of a struggle, it does look a little smaller in the cross tubes so may make the bike run a bit warmer but time will tell. Annoyingly my old radiator didn't leak just the brackets had broke off due to corrosion.
