its my first time on here so I hope I'm doing this right
iv had a 99 fazer 600 for 12yrs and its never let me down .
Recently went for a weekend jount down the coast and managed to over fill the engine oil so that my brother in law got most of it over  his fireblade .
when I got back I went to give the old girl a full service but to my dismay the drive chain snapped on start up.
I'm looking for a fzr 1000 know I'm a bigboy and I need the extra grunt.I just wanted to first ask if anyone on here could advise me on a price for my bike as is its done 44k on a v plate and if I could drum up some deposit for another bike it would be very grateful.

Hello. I have for sale, Rear hugger in blue, fits Fazer 1000 Gen 1.


In good condition, has no cracks or splits, but does have some stone chips n couple of scuffs from normal use, see photo's.


£50 + post, unless you would rather collect it.

Andy here from Preston, Passed My DAS back in November (Pretty much as soon as i could afford the training after my 25th BDay) hopped straight onto this Beautiful 06 FZ1S 1000.


Plenty of people said it was a bit daft as a first bike but I'm not really a speed junkie and I'm definitely no Squid! So i though i'd go for it anyway! Can honestly say it was the best decision I've ever made, Absolutely LOVING IT!


If anyone's out and about up here gimme a shout, im always up for a ride out!

Hi I am going to do a brake service on my FZS in the next few weeks,  I have the dot 4 and some red rubber  grease.
Never done a brake service  before, so any advice and pitfalls would  be appreciated.

in the process of doing my bike up I have changed the wiring harness, on the "new" harness there is 2 plugs with one of them having a joining wire, I presume this is for the alarm, so anyone know which wire does what and can you buy the plugs? My old harness didn't have these plugs.

Anyone know off hand what size the standard screen bolts are?


Not in front of bike, and need to order some new ones. Have ordered some generic black nylon bolts in past, but can't find a record of what I ordered! Would rather stick with plastic bolts, as in a previous crash the bolts gave way saving the screen.
