I'm looking for a standard Yamaha silencer from a 2001-3 bike as this doesn't have a cat, must be in mint condition.
Also looking for a wiring loom for an 04-05 bike, again must be in good condition.
If anyone can help please get in touch. I'm in Glasgow but am happy to pay for postage as well.
Cheers.

Hi
I need a set of rear sets (sounds weird when i say it) for my 2000 plate FZS600. Just noticed yesterday that they are odd while staring at it out of our 1st floor office window
I'm in county Durham by the way
Cheers
Chris

well after fibreglassing the hole in my tail and the grabrail holes i obviously needed to paint it
needed it in a rush today so shot down to halfords to see what was close
it turns out ford moondust silver isnt a bad match
havent clearcoated it yet but it will do me and looks better than primer over filler

its 3AM and i just got back in and im too cold to investigate other than looking at diagrams and ask here
the 2000 model doesnt have headlight relays does it ?
if it does where abouts should i be looking
- im running twin dominator headlights with osram night breakers and not as impressed impressed as i should be
thinking of going direct wiring with a relay (last 30 miles have been a nightmare as there was no1 to follow)
if there is no oem relay i will just rip the loom and hide a relay under the tank
oem factory relay will get replaced if there is one as standard

Howdo from north Manchester area, just got a 2001 37,000 mile red/black fazer which was a trade sale with no guarantee or return etc. From a well known dealer(ebay sale)
I paid £650 for it and it ran like a pig all the way home some 35 miles. Good news is that I managed to sort it out with another set of carbs and it runs beautifully now. All I need to do now is re paint the forks, free off the brakes and repair and respray the fairing and give it a full service etc.
Anyone got any tips for repairing plastic bodywork?

Plastic welding needed |

Hi I am new on here, but I have done a few bikes up in my time and love to tinker. I purchased a 2001 fzs600 last week on EBay for £650 as a winter bike, it's just a bit tarnished and dirty mainly but the engine is mint and runs sweetly, so are the forks tyres etc and generally no rust anywhere but it has been down the road and has a chunk missing out of the fairing.
Do any of you reccomend any product that will glue a piece of plastic back in, or does anyone know which type of plastic to use so I could have a go at plastic welding,
Cheers Steve
