My 2003 Fazer 600 stopped working for no apparent reason.
Rode it to work, everything was fine. When i was about to go back home, she didn't turn on.

When i turn the key, no lights come on, at all.[/color]
[color=rgb(29, 33, 41)]I've tried another battery and it still doesn't work. Also, I've checked the fuses and they are intact.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
I have no idea of where to look.

Had a 98 one which i'm currently fixing, because a guy ran a stop sign and made me crash.

Now I'm riding a 2003 one, with some upgrades K&N filter, Ohlins suspension and a Delkevic exhaust

Hey folk's  fitted a pinlock today for 20 quid, J & S doing 20% off loads, in competition with bike week.

Just a heads up for anyone at a loose end on Sunday 10 December. It's the annual Christmas toy run from Whitstable (Gorrell Tank carpark CT5 1LB) to QEQM hospital in Margate. Departs at 2:00pm. 

As well as the fuel filter between the tank and fuel pump should there be what looks like a fuel filter between the fuel pump and carb's? I've good flow to the offending article and poor flow out of it????? If it's an auxiliary filter will I be okay to bypass it or is it some kind of check valve - doesn't seem to be a one way valve just poor flow blowing through it in either direction. I think a previous owner may have fitted it??? Pic shows the item in the hose between pump and carb's (temporary routing whilst working on the bike):-

Just picked up a 2001 FZS1000 for my daily, all weather rider.


I've had an FZ1 in the past but never got on with seat, etc.


I've also got a 2013 FJR for touring, days out, etc. with the missus and a 2002 ZX9-R Ninja for being a boy racer from time to time...


One week into riding it and loving every minute. It's been jetted and fitted with K&N's with a Viper can (minus the baffle)
