Has anyone replaced the sidelight bulbs for brighter white or blue bulbs on their FZ1n ?
If yes, which bulbs did you use please and did they last the pace ? This is more for looks and daytime ‘ I’m here ‘ riding.

Has any else bought the latest book by Neil Spalding on MotoGP Technology 3rd Edition?
I had a knee replacement operation 3 weeks ago, off work and cannot Ride or Drive. :'(
I bought this book and it arrived 3 days after I came out of hospital and can say it has kept me sane for the past 2 weeks. Without doubt one of the most interesting books I would say I have ever read. I usually speed read, but this I have read word for word and definitely the best 40 notes I have ever spent.
If you have any interest in the MOTGP it is definitely a book worth reading. :thumbup
My problem now is what the foc am I going to do when I finish it this evening :'(
After 3 days of Daytime TV, between ads for Over fifty Life Insurance, funeral insurance , leave something in your will to some crowd, elderly go karts, save the tiger, the snow leopard the dog, the elephant, cats and every other foccing thing you could think of, Jermy Kyle and Doctors :foc I couldn't hack it any longer.
Thankfully I am getting a bit more mobile and can head back to the garage to finish fixing my Serow this weekend. :woot
Back the the original reason for the post if you do have an interest in MotoGP the book is worth buying and if you can get it for less then 40 notes all the better
Alright guys, Iv'e had a little mishap and managed to cut the side of my generator cable, ive cut through 2 white wires and cut into blue a little. there looks to be 3 white 1 yellow and 1 blue
Just wondering if these white cables do the same thing, can i just solder them back up?
Hi All, i was on here 5 years ago but left when I sold my Gen1 1000, well.................... i have bought the same bike back again as to good to
let someone else have him (he is called Freddy!), the bike has a a full monty ivan upgrade (done by mike), a niton rear shock, hagon front springs, braided hoses, yam sports screen, Arrow can, heated grips, new battery and chain and sprockets, hugger and belly pan, pazzo leavers, new PR 4 tyres, just been serviced, im not selling him again as regretted doing so 4 years ago to buy a green SX thingy
[size=78%]I've had my Fazer for a year - first big bike.. and absolutely love it. Comfortable, reliable, low maintenance, powerful, easy on petrol. But the London Mayor has proposed that, being a pre 2007 (not a Euro-3 bike) it will be subject to Congestion charge and ULEZ charge from next year. So I have been looking around to replace it, but I can't find anything post 2007 that is nearly as good ! MPG drops from 50's to 40's, and power drops even in an 800 like the Fazer 8. Also looking at the Honda CBF600S, the Fazer 8, Suzuki GSF1250SA, and the FZ1.[/size][/size] Anyone made the jump and fancy sharing their thoughts ?[size=78%]
