The Better, Bigger Breakfast gathering at the above cafe takes place on Sunday April 15th, 9am to 2-30pm. The first big meet up of the year in this area. Over 500 bikes turned up last year. Hope to see some fellow foccers there.

  Strange Vibration

Hey Guys.
Back again. This is a continuation of my last post https://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,23866.0.html but decide to open a new one to keeps things neat. Smile

Well after i sorted ou the issue with the TPS and adjusted the throttle cable slack,  the carb cleaning,  bench sync the carbs and changed the oil and coolant i took the back for a ride. (Not a long one i am afraid! :'( :'( )
The bike it starts to shake kind of loosing power or lack of air/fuel i don't know after 4k RPM. if i increase the throttle it goes away a bit and the bike picks up speed but it seems to happen once a change gear and try to increase throttle.
I read somewhere some guy having the similar issue and it turned out to be a trapped fuel line underneath the tank. I just had a look at the connections and they seem to be fine to me.
i also read somewhere that it might need to adjust the pilot screw so i did that starting from 2 1/2 turns and adjusting to get a better response. That improved a bit but not much.
I am running out of options and at this point a feel that i am going to throw the towel and get the bike to a shop. (Ah!! after all my  work.  >: )

Anyway... if anyone out there had the same or similar issue and can give me some glue on what is or i am doing wrong here i will appreciate.

Thanks guys and girls  :'(

Introduced myself earlier this month talking about getting back into biking after 20+ yrs. Well I've gone and done it - bought a 2002 FZS 600 - silver, 23K on the clock. Collect next Saturday but will be trailering as a 130 mile trip after not being on a bike for any length of time is probably not a good idea! Not sure if this is the right area but I'm after a rear hugger and a front extender - best place to get them (and can I get rear hugger the same colour?). Also engine bars or bobbins - any preferences to which is best? And where to get them.

Hi all, next week I'll be picking up a 2004 fazer 1000.It's been sat in a garage for at least 4 years but it's a one owner bike with about 10,000 miles on so I'm touching wood and hoping it'll be an easy job to get back on the road. :rollin

He says it's a carbs bike so that'll take me back a bit cleaning them up  :rolleyes    and I think probably a new battery and tyres too.Have I missed anything?

Can't wait to get her running,I ride an NC750X DCT at the mo and while the 80mpg is great and the helmet swallowing tank is genius I could use a good scare from a bike again. :woot :eek :eek
