| Starter relay |

I think my starter relay is on its way out on my Gen2. Been getting some starting issues,
This is not me in the video but it's the exact thing that's happening to mine....
https://youtu.be/XGi7yjGfNVE
Anyway my question is are all relays created equal? As the price of them seems to vary wildly. From £8.50 - £65??
I have found this one
https://www.motoelectrical.co.uk/types/s...gKVwvD_BwE
Which seems to be from a proper company but at £17 it's about £8 cheaper than most of the used ones on fleaBay? And a lot cheaper than the £65+vat I was quoted from my local yammy stealership
So it is a case of buy cheap buy twice or are they all pretty much the same thing?

| Jerky throttle response |

As the title says, I'm finding the throttle becoming very jerky at times (especially at low speed) on my FZ6 (06)
I put a Power Commander III on ages ago which improved the fuel injection, but I'm wondering if the throttle bodies need rebalancing (I don't know they've ever been done...)

it's a strange one. Thought I had a busted exup cable, but they are fine. The bike ( 04 fazer thou, well maintained, 37k) runs like a peach and pulls like that geordie feller Adam on "love island", but gets to 7500 rpm and it loses power and bogs, change up and it's back on song until it hits 7500 again..
I'm guessing it's got to be electrics or fuel, but it's just really odd because it's faultless until it hits those revs, even two up and loaded. It ain't been serviced since early last winter ( about 3000 miles back) as I picked up aa nekkid cb1300 at the start of summer and I've been useing that a lot, but I'll order a full service kit off eBay this week and get it done then try it see if it's any better. Anybody else ever had this? Ecu failing? Exup servo playing silly buggers? Damned if I know..???

well, it's come to that unfortunate time that I need to sell my Fazer 8
For me it has been a truly exceptional bike over the past 5 years, but the wife has never been 100% comfy on it, and if we want to do more miles, we need a different bike.
Gone for a Versys 1000 GT, which is a very exceptional, but totally different bike to the Fazer, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Cheers all :thumbup

Last chance for some quiet roads this afternoon. Hopefully a lot of people will be glued to the final, leaving the roads safer for us to enjoy. For those of us that take advantage rubber side down, shiny side up, ride safe and enjoy

Can any of you guys give me advice about my seat. I only weigh about 10 1/2st so not much meat on my arse. I can ride for about 25-30 mile but by then I have to stop because my ars e is hurting so much (yes I can hear you all laughing) but after this i can then only ride about 10 - 15 mile before it have to get off again - it's bloody annoying. Anyone tried reshaping the seat of having it done professionally ?
