What's everyone's preference for front fork spring kits .I have seen the hyperpro, ohlins, having and so forth. If I temereme rightly one was preferred to the others. I do ride in a spirited manner and will sometimes have a pillion too .
Hi all
So I’ve got some LED flashers on the bike now and swapped the old flasher relay or an LED one...can anyone enlighten me as to why they dont flash? They just light up once and stay on....do I need inline resistors too?
Full 12 month MOT .... passed just this morning, Comes with service history, in well above average condition, no dents, scrapes or damage at all, in the best colour (blue with black frame and engine) only reason for selling is I’m looking for a fzs1000
24000 miles on the clock, full delkevic stainless exhaust inc down pipes, Oxford heated grips, front fender extender, 2 keys, loads of paperwork, never been dropped or abused, ridden by sensible older rider full V5 in my name, always garaged
My centre stand was really slow to retract last night, and when I had a look at it, the larger spring has snapped :'( . Has anyone had any luck finding a generic spring that fits, or is my only option OEM at £20.00?
The coils seem to be much wider than the ones you see on ebay or WEmoto, probably because of having to accommodate the thinner spring going through the middle? The same spring fits the Fazer 1000 and VMax apparently but I can't find any second hand ones online.
My caliper is dead, but looking at it with a ruler the measurements seem to be roughly 120mm hook to hook (assuming it's the same as the thin spring). The coil part is roughly 25mm OD, and nearly 60mm long.
If anyone has one knocking around that they're happy to sell please let me know!
I'd just like to say, as well as being a very knowledgeable foccer when it comes to all things, er, foccing, Pat was very helpful with tips and advice when I was looking to buy my house a couple of years back, and it's much appreciated, not forgotten.
Having a garage clear out and found this , a home made motorcycle build table on wheels , sturdy metal frame with heavy duty wheels , a MFC top with four tie down points and a flush fitting metal plate for the centre stand , easily takes my honda cb 400/4 which has been standing on it for a number of years.
used to restore the 400/4 , easily pushed when fully loaded , was able to push into the corner of the garage whan not working on the bike so I could get the car in the garage .
comes apart for easy transportation .
