| R6 Upgrade shock - looking for top bush |

About 14 years ago I followed some advice on here and did the rear shock upgrade, with an R6 shock made in 2008. This has to be the strongest reason I still own the bike and exported it to Germany when I moved a few years later.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago I'm down the local TUV station (think MOT) and I escape by the skin of my teeth with a pass, with an advisory on the top bush of the shock. I've now removed the shock and extracted the knackered bush only to find no one seems to supply the dam things as replacements.
I notice Yamaha don't list this bush as an individual part (where as they did for the original Fazer shock) and Ohlins are no use at all (at least online).
Can anyone save the day by pointing me in the right direction of what will work here?

Hi all,
Does anyone know the name of the dealer or any dealer/trader in Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire that collects and sells a bike for a fee? I've lost the contact details for the one I had and can't for the life of me remember their name.

| Working on 3 cylinders |

So, this spring my Fazer started working on three cylinders only. The leftmost one gave up the ghost - even though it's parked on centre stand.
What I've done so far:
- Checked to see if the plugs are throwing sparks. They are. Replaced with the new ones just in case.
- Cleaned the carbs.
- Checked the compression - the problematic cylinder has lower compression compared to the other ones.
Carb. intake rubbers are leaking - at least the leftomst one definitely is.
What I haven't done:
- Checked the carburator membranes.
- Checked the valves.
To make the matters more interesting, local mechanics aren't interested in the job.
I get told to bring it in during the winter, and to expect at least a $1,000 bill for the repairs.
So, I am seriously considering to give it a try myself, and see where it takes me.
Sure, this season of riding seems toast already, regardless of what I do, but with a bit of luck, I might live to see the next spring. LOL
I can source parts from Serbian Yamaha dealer (uber-expensive and months waiting, but it's not impossible).
I can also source stuff from German Amazon, and perhaps from some German online stores (not all of them will take Serbian Visa debit card payments with a German delivery address).
Any tips or advice are welcome.
The advice from the last mechanic I talked to was to sell the bike and get a newer model.

Hi all, as in the subject, does anyone know if a blue spot rear brake caliper would fit my 03 FZS 600? Happy for some minor adjustment / filing the bracket, but would it need much more? Heard the FZS1000 rear fits with the slight adjustment mentioned above.. Cheers
