Hello everybody, unsure how to use this site so hopefully i’m doing it right but ported the cylinder heads out (lots of imperfections surprisingly when cast) and milled it so that 99 octane fuel can now be used to my advantage for extra power on the 600 (engine was already out replacing the 2nd gear shift fork) however this does mean regular fuel will cause detonation so premium only from now on yay

Ivan kit installation and quickshifter |

Hi, new here, thanks for admitting me, got bike at weekend, great bike ticks every box I had for a nimble fun commuter with comfy seating and a bit of fairing.
It did try and kill me yesterday in a Stephen King Christine moment, pulled it outside garage, started it on choke and roller shutter didn’t close properly behind. Tried a few times then went inside and fiddled then big electrical bang door open just to height of exhaust outside by now doing about 3k rpm enthusiastically filling garage, ran around MacGyver like to steal a fuse off something, still couldn’t work it then got trolley jack under door enough to crawl out. First bike I’ve had with carb and choke and no catalyst. Anyway still here, won’t take it personally.
I was looking at Ivan kit. It’s not short of power (and I’m used to a K1300S) but having smoother lower down would be good, particularly for the tedious London revenue zones. Does he still make it. Is it worth getting in US, headed there in a month.how much time and cursing and inadvertently buggering things up with stuck jets etc is involved for someone with above mentioned affinity for Sod’s Law to step in whenever doing a seemingly simple mechanical task.
Is there anyone who will do the job reliably for a reasonable fee - I’m in Kent.
Also thinking of adding a healtech quickshifter. Gearbox is great and can shift smoothly without clutch with just a tiny dip of throttle so thinking perfect for qs, love it on my K1300S. Saw a video of install seems simple. Any thoughts for or against?
Thanks for any input.

FZS 600 dropping to left side when riding |

Hello,
Looking for help determining why my bike Yamaha FZS 600 is leaning to left side. When I take hands of handlebars it wants to drop to left side. I can see that entire front suspension tears to right when I take hands off and that's why bike wants to drop to left. When I'm taking corner to the right and take hands of handlebars bike is self leveling itself to upright and then goes to left. when I pull or push bike from behind ( I'm not even siting on my bike) front steers to right. I tired replacing Stearing head bearings but it didn't help. Rear wheel is aligned with chain and point on a frame so I don't think it's a rear wheel problem. Does anybody know what to do?

As a motorcyclist of over 20yrs I am beyond furious at the complete and utter disregard and lack of respect shown in this ad. I have to ask, where the Marketing/advertising dept. at JDS drunk or on drugs when they created then approved this. How was it possible that at no point, was in a shred of common sense applied..?
It’s bad enough that they have portrayed and painted all young riders, a law breaking scumbags. But how exactly did they magically think that trainers and tracksuits were somehow now safety equipment of any kind???. But this isnt the first time JDS has portrayed young people as irresponsible and having no respect for other people or their enviroment.
I know JDS aren’t exactly highbrow, appealing to the lowest common denominator. But seriously, what the actual F.
Complete and utter imbeciles.

Hi all,
It's time to re-shoe the '98 Fazer and was hoping for some recommandations for the best choice of tyre. No track days or knee down antics. Mostly A/B roads in spring, summer, autumn
Currently wearing, Front: Pirelli Diablo 110/70 ZR 17 MC 54W
Rear: Metzler 160/60 ZR 17 MC (69W)
Any ideas?
