  Whitstable Egg Run 2019
Posted by: HarryHornby - 31-03-19, 08:28 AM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - Replies (11)

Morning Foccers,

I'm off to the Whitstable Egg Run next Sunday.  Was thinking of taking a slightly more scenic route down there from my place in Sittingbourne.

The poster says meet anytime from 12.00 and then the run starts at 2.00pm from the Tankerton Road Car Park, CT5 2AS.

We then head to Orchard School in Canterbury.  Don't forget your egg.

If anyone is about you would be more than welcome.

  LED Side light Bulbs
Posted by: old son - 30-03-19, 08:22 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - No Replies

I want to change my side light bulbs to LED. I think they are 501? I've seen some for sale but they are non canbus and might need a resistor to stop flickering?

Can anybody direct me to a web site with the correct bulbs that don't flicker and are not an arm and a leg!!

Thanks

  Paint Pains
Posted by: Bertie78 - 29-03-19, 08:51 PM - Forum: FZ6 / Fazer - Replies (2)

Hi all - being the proud new owner of an FZ6, i also have all the pains as well as the delights. My current stumbling block is i can't seem to get the paint code right. Having checked the white label, i get "4S8B-050, C". After a lot of Googling, i managed to come up with the paint code BMC (775) - Metallic Blue C. I could only seem to get this from RS Paints, but they have it listed as Power Blue Candy. Having applied some to the scratched area, I'm not convinced it's a match. I've tried searching on Reg, VIN, and I'm seriously running out of ideas. I've attached a photo in the vain hope i get a "oh that's [this] colour" response.

TIA

  Security Chains?
Posted by: Bally- - 29-03-19, 12:47 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (6)

Had my 600 nicked the other day, wasn't locked. Yes, I know.

Going to buy a replacement 02 or 03 model - just wondered if anyone uses 16mm or bigger chains? Do they fit through the bike (and where?) or just the back wheel?. Is 1.5m long enough to get to a ground anchor?

Thanks
