looking around I can't see any that come slotted, Must be someone who has come across this before how on earth do they clamp up? [Image: e10542.gif]

Howdy ........ Insane Gen1 owner - the wife rides one too; I've also 'turned' three others onto Fazer Thou's so you could say I like 'em...

Mine has done 96K miles, and is called Shaz.... If you're from the MK area and like day-long rides, get in touch.  :eek

  Ron Haslam race school
Posted by: helen - 06-09-11, 06:58 PM - Forum: General - Replies (4)

I'm posting this in here 'cos I can't make the yuku board do what I want today!!

Anyhow, just thought I'd share my excitement with the group after doing a Ron Haslam race school day last week.

[smg id=295]

This is also a trial run to see if my photo appears in the post!!  The day was brilliant.  I'd done one before, but still have SO much to learn about riding a bike.  Mostly it's a confidence thing, I can't quite bring myself to trust the bike and carry more corner speed or climb around the bike and hang off the seat :\  So as the photo (hopefully) shows, there's no chance of knee down action yet!

Very impressed with the CBR600 - I'd never ridden a sports 600 before - it was a revelation  :eek
Light, easy to steer, no clunky gear changes, neutral handling, fantastic bike. I'm so tempted, though the trusty Fazer may never forgive me  :'(

  Photo comp Sept

To get ready for the switchover have a go at posting you photo here as well as on the official Yuku thread.

The theme is 'dereliction' in all it's forms, buildings, motors etc. - but feel free to post any photo.

There are a few ways to post a picture but the simplest is to post one from your hard drive. Click REPLY, then click on Additional Options below the reply box, then click in the Attach box to choose the photo.

If your picture is already online e.g. on a photobucket type site you can either copy the IMG code or click the little button that looks like the Mona Lisa and paste in the web address (URL).

Any questions? Please just ask me either in this thread, on Yuku or by PM Smile

  Biker hotels
Posted by: DryRob - 02-09-11, 01:09 PM - Forum: Your Suggestions and How you can help - Replies (2)

How about a map like the calender where members can plot hotels that are biker friendly with a few details like hotel name, parking arrangements and a short review? Or is there a website that does this?
