02 FZS600 Engine Parts For Sale!
Posted by: scottyboy2203 - 04-10-11, 08:09 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (4)

Hi All, am stripping an '02 FZS600 engine as a piston blew resulting in a replacement needed. Only bad bits are 2 pistons, cylinder head and crankshaft. All the externals are fine, not sure about gearbox until I have a look.

If you're needing engine spares PM me what and i'll check it out first!

  exup question
Posted by: solorider - 04-10-11, 07:52 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (18)

because at the moment im struggling to get the exup parts i need im thinking of blanking the pivot hole by using a snug fitting bolt and locking it by 2 nuts so nothing can come loose,i know i will lose the mid range power but will it cause the bike to be a bit spluttery in the rev range where the exup valve would be working? i know i could leave the exup slide in place but im thinking by leaving it out there is nothing to get in the way, anyone tried this and will it work?

  Previous / Next links
Posted by: richfzs - 04-10-11, 05:35 PM - Forum: Your Suggestions and How you can help - Replies (4)

When you're reading a thread, there are links to take you to the next (& previous) thread in the forum - which is dead handy.

There's also a link (up top next to your avatar) which shows all unread posts since last visit - which is also dead handy.

What would also be dead handy, is if, having clicked to see the unread posts and then selected a thread to read, the next/previous links took you to the next/previous in the unread list (as opposed to currently, where they go the next in the forum the thread being read was posted in).

Sure this would be possible, but dunno how much work would be involved - or even if I'm the only one wants this?

Good idea / bad idea?

Just wondering if anyone has fitted a set of mirrors with indicators in the back or modded the stock mirrors?

I found these on eBay, has anyone had any luck with them?

  Best Screen?
Posted by: cyclingscott - 04-10-11, 03:42 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (13)

Hi Guys,

I've just bought an FZS1000-It's great but I would like to get a bigger screen as it's a bit windy at high speeds. Has anybody got any suggestions for a good screen?

I've seen a double bubble version but it's only 3cm higher than standard. Is that going to make much of a difference?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Hi guys , i'm after some help again  :rolleyes  , i have just bought a new clutch complete (steels & friction plates) as my old one was dragging alot and appeared to be a mix and match affair (previous owners ? ) now the problem i have is because someone else has been in there before me i do not know if the 2 small rings ( clutch boss spring and seat )are facing the correct way as they are slightly curved also which way around do the steels face as they have one face that is very slightly rounded , it does not show on the parts manual and i have no Haynes , any help gratefully accepted  Smile
cheers Jeff
