So who bothers with winter tyres on their cage? Or maybe some will say 'wouldn't be without them!'

Wanted: plastic fasteners for fairing inner
Posted by: helen - 30-10-11, 10:38 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

Yep, in the true tradition of 'bodge it and scarper' I removed the right hand fairing inner by completely destroying the two plastic fasteners that hold it on.

So, does anyone have a couple of these lying around, or know where I can get them from?

  Movember
Posted by: Aegis Bearing Mel - 30-10-11, 09:55 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

Evening Foccers.
Myself and a couple of the boys from work are taking part in Movember this year to raise cash and awareness for Prostate Cancer.
Looking to get as much sponsorship as we can, so hoping a few of you fine folks will be willing to give a few sheckles to help us on our way.
Our Mo-Space can be found here.

The plan is if you give a donation you get to chose which style of 'tache we all have to grow.
Hoping that we'll get enough interest to count the votes next Sunday so the preliminary trimming and shaping can start.
The options are on here...

  Slightly damaged faring free.
Posted by: nettshubby - 30-10-11, 06:08 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

I am (eventually!) replacing the fairing on my silver FZS 1000, 2004. The one on the bike at present has some small scratches/ scrapes on the sides, plus a crack about 3" long on right side from bottom up.
I believe these are relativeley easily repaired using one of the touch up kits you can buy, plus a little super glue.
When I get round to removing it, anyone wanting it, free, for collection, let me know and they can have it.
It would perhaps suit someone who has a smashed fairing, and can`t afford a new one?
Ray. (Chesterfield area, Derbyshire,)

Hi fellow fazer owners
My name is Mike Lockyer and I live in Colchester. I am retired and have plenty of spare time to go on rideouts. Unfortunately I do not find many other people as lucky as me. I am 72 years of age and first rode a motorcycle in 1957. Had a break but have now been ridin continously since 1980. Hope to meet up with some of you soon.
ride safe, mike
