Earlier this evening some scrotes got into the shed at the bottom of my garden via the unlocked (and unlockable) door that leads into the garden.
Fortunately they triggered the alarm on the motorbike making them run off. Unfortunately they panicked and kicked their way out of the back door into the alley way.
Stupid idiots could have just turned the latch on the yale lock!
Now I've got a busted door that I'm going to have to pay to get fixed :2guns

So. I bought a NAS drive to (mostly) keep a backup of the lappy. All going great, apart from a few folders won't copy across using SyncToy2.1
Looks like a permissions thing (80070005), and the folders do have read only access on them - thing is, I can't take that read only attribute off! I go through the motions, Vista does the same, but when I look back at the permissions again, the read only attr is till there.
Anybody have any ideas as to how I can make Vista do as its told? I'm logged in as admin, and I've tried running winders explorer as admin as well. makes no difference! Help!

When I serviced my bike I topped the oil up and started the engine for a few minutes and then the oil level was sat perfect. I noticed once the bikes been running for half an hour the window completely fills and stays full for a while, I've ran the bike for a few weeks with no problems.
Shud I drain some oil or just leave it?
i have now ran 2500 miles with it like this lol :eek as in the morning after a run it always settled to the correct level.

I'm using Castrol power 1

... a KTM 250 exc "top end" rebuild might be.
Sons 2009 engine half seized. The KTM dealer investigated and declared the top end rebuild needed. They quoted £2000 just for parts but to be fair they said he could get it done a lot cheaper elsewhere.
I know it depends on how many of the parts need replacing but can any mechy types give me a ballpark figure?

Any idea's on stopping the ignition switch sticking on my year 2000 Fazer? i've not used it for a couple of days and could not release the steering lock let alone start the bike?
i know its the original switch as all the keys match apart from the one i bent this morning trying to free the switch off :\
the best option in the long run would be replace it, but any advice would be appreciated.
thanks in advance
