Hi guys, has anyone fitted a hyperpro spring kit? if so made any difference?
just feels a tad soft to ride so a little firmer would be nice.

cheers.

Took it 50 yards down the road and down it went :'(

So looking for a 2004 met blue fairing with r/hand infill.

If any foccers knows someone who knows someone thats one gathering dust somewhere i'd be very grateful.

  Brake fluid change
Posted by: tomjimtom - 11-01-12, 11:25 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (9)

Hi,
I'm going to be doing my first brake fluid change at some point in the next few weeks (yay)

Unfortunately, I've only ever done it on cars before.

Now my first question is, what size tube am I looking for to fit the bleed nipple?  I don't really want to buy a kit with the tubing, one way valve etc. if I can just buy a little bit of tubing Smile

Second question, how much brake fluid will I need to do both front and back, I don't imagine much, but wanted to check first Smile

Oh, also, any differences in fluid between manufacturers?

Many thanks,
Tom

I'm back after a few years away again. Now living at Ramsey, near Peterborough and riding a Fireblade 954 (yellow of course). Good to see some familiar names still on the forums. Looking forward to catching up with everyone. All the best and a happy new year, Su  Smile

One of the best bikes I think Ive owned!
Posted by: Fazerjon - 10-01-12, 08:31 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (10)

I've got to say that out of nearly all the bikes I've owned over the last 20 odd years (and I've had a few as I'm always chopping and changing!) my fazer 600 is one of the best all round bikes I think I've ever had.
I bought in November it as a non runner for £1350 with 9,000 miles on, its a T reg 1999. A quick strip and clean out of the carbs, new battery, tyres and a service and what a bike! I do all the work myself so have saved a fortune and I believe I got a good deal after looking on ebay and bike trader I cant find a fazer that cheap with that mileage in such good condition!
I use the bike every day as a commuter into London around 80 miles a day and its so comfortable, I'm 5'11 and get no aches or pains. It goes like a rocket for a 600 and handles really well, and the brakes are superb (well the front one is) the back could do with an overhaul but is ok for now.
The only mods I've done is fit heated grips, the headlight mod, a delkevic Stainless can and a rear hugger.
Absolutely love it!
Sorry for going on about it for so long, I just had to say what a F**king marvellous bike for the money. :rollin

  new PC

when my new PC arrives it will have no OS installed. So as long as in the BIOS the primary boot drive is set as a CD drive will it just read the windows 7 disk? (thus creating a partition and installing windows?)

been such a long time since Ive done this i cant remember  :o
