Congrats to Ghoti and beefy505 for their joint win of Feb's comp. March's theme is:
"In reflection: a picture of your bike's reflection."
Post your photographs below to enter. Competition rules include a maximum of 2 photographs per active member, photographs must have been taken by the entrant and relate to the theme and the competition will close toward the end of March. The prize is to choose next month's theme.

Flat tyres and another run of bad luck . . . . |

Just recently had some bike trouble, cracked air intakes and replacements fitted, carbs balanced and cleaned, front yoke straightened (I reckon some twat drove into it, bending it out of shape, as it happened over night) brakes cleaned and sorted after the winter stresses and a nice set of new Michelin Road Pilots. All for £450. Had the new tyres less than a week and today found a nice big screw in the middle of the rear one.
Quite upset. Please say I am not the only one with this run of misfortune??

Past my test last year and would love to go on a ride out where I'm not chasing Phils tail lol !! He's a born again teenager whoes discovered his biking spirit (he just forgets he's 30 year older lol) I'm Still getting to grips with cornering - did manage to tour Ireland last year so cant be that bad (just before you guys get in some sarcastic replies).. anyway would love to hear even if you dont live close could meet in the middle somewhere..

The most online was 14th Feb 9pm - how sad are we :lol

Found out last night that one of our local pikeys is marrying off his 16 YEAR OLD daughter and has hired a local club for the reception.
(This is the same family who have been banned from my local for threatening the landlady)
Now, as the daughter has put an open invite out AND as apparently channel 4 is filming it, a wave of panic has hit my area as we are expecting thousands to descend upon the village.
ALL local pubs will be closed, if not boarded up, for the Friday and Saturday. This alone will cost them thousands of pounds in lost revenue.
Police are pulling in ALL available staff to cover the event.
All residents will be on their guard to avert the expected crime wave.
But lets not lose sight of the fact that these people are ENTITLED to their way of life under our human rights laws :eek

new home build regs - light fittings ?? |

very puzzled, went to a friends house last night, and 2 of their bulbs had blown, when i asked where the spares were, they said that they have to order them off the internet as they are 3prong bayonet fittings, as its a new build house (about 5yrs old i think) - given all the new houses being built, you would have thought tesco and such would be teeming with them - but i have never heard of them, is there a chance this could be a load of bull, and would their be any harm in swapping the pendant light fitting back to "normal bayonet" fittings so they can use the normal stick low energy bulbs ??
