Looking a bit of help with a role play situation. I am on a course at the weekend which will involve actors being in my face and ranting on about how i am not doing the job quickly properly good enough etc. I have to stay professional and resist the temptation not punch their lights out.
I would normally match their rant with my own but i am in unfamiliar territory being the passive person.

Any one liners or suggestions how to help.

I'm keen to make my 2008 FZ1 faired look a little more sporty by fitting either a coloured or sports style screen. Any advice out there on good options or whether this is something to avoid? Cheers.

My old Kwak was dusted off and taken up to Rayburn600's at the weekend after spending 3 years in the back of the garage, after putting the battery back on the optimate over the last month and it saying everything was fine the news after Ray has looked at the bike is not so good.
As the new place doesnt have a garage I bought a spanky Bike cover from Nooj but what I didnt realise was that I should of sprayed the bike and things have got rusty and its not looking good.
The biek is misfiring and and the battery is fooked completely (optimate you lie) and will need

4 new spark plugs
4 new end caps
Battery
Front fork seal has gone
2 new tyres

This is just to get it into a state where I can get it in for an MOT and to see what else it will fail on.

It's an early model ZZR 600 D1 so the thing is, is it worth it? I wanted to get back on 2 wheels this year but maybe I won't.

I could buy all the parts and get them fitted but then what else will Mr MOT man find and will if anything else goes wrong on it it's  :\

hi whereabouts do you put these protectors as ones ive seen fitted are on a engine bolt to the main frame do you have to unbolt the engine bolt then fit mushroom

I have been tampering with my bike for the last 2 weeks, some good progress, some not so good. One of the many things I "tried" to do was wire in a gear indicator but after several attempts at mounting the sensors I gave up. Managed to blow the headlight fuse whilst I was messing but replaced it & all seemed well. This was last week. Now the bike is complete again, every attempt at switching from side lights to main beam results in dim indicators coming on (all 4 from memory), some dash lights also coming on dimly & a strange beeping/buzzing sound from the clock/dash area.  Spent all day on it today as work is slack but it was getting late when I got to this stage so thought I would try you folks for inspiration before I tackle the problem tomorrow.

Any ideas what I've done peeps?

After a year off my bike due to a broken elbow, I am now getting my bike back on the road. I'm a bit nervous, so I'm hoping some lovely foccers would like to join me in a 'gentile' bimble around Essex/Braintree district Maybe, Finchingfield, somewhere else...erm...where Eddie goes (I'm not sure where that is) and into Colchester for a nice lunch?
I predict the end of May will be a balmy 30 degrees and warm enough for me to venture out. If anyone can make it, or had preferred dates, please post

I've been visiting this site for a couple of years now and thought it was time to sign up, I ride a 55 plate FZS1000 Fazer and am regularly down the Dick Turpin (A127) on the Tuesday night bike meet so may see some of you down there soon.
