  Leaking oil from the Gearshift
Posted by: John Silva - 12-03-12, 08:33 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (7)

After the first ride of the season my bike has started leaking oil quite badly from the gearshift oil seal.

Has anybody replaced theres? I wanna know how hard it will be without taking the engine out/apart.

Can anyone recommend a decent insurance company at a reasonable price, my renewal is soon to be up on my 2011 fz1-n, ive been getting quotes from around £130 up to £220 fully comp, but with a massive excess.(I'm 39 with a clean licence!) Is there a Yamaha Owners club discount or something similar?  :rolleyes

Not Too Badly Ripped Off By Swinton Insurance
Posted by: Andy Clap - 12-03-12, 02:47 PM - Forum: General - Replies (2)

£21 to change bikes (03 £3k CBR600RR -to- 02 £1700 FZS600).  I thought it would be a lot worse as my terms and conditions state a £25 fee, then I thought they would take the p1ss on the premium.  I guess I got a £4 refund, which took the fee down to £21.
