hi all,
ive got what looks like oxford first time bike panniers any hints on fitting them as i will be taking a pillion passenger as well
thanks
david
I have them as well. On my FZS600 I put all 3 straps under the seat so it doesn't make it uncomfortable for my missus. Don't need her moaning any more than usual :lol
cheers will do a conglomeration of both when i finished daughters bedroom painting :'(
I have an FZ6 and soft luggage and no problem with the underseat exhaust as the heat sheilds really work

Nope- always put my cross webbing under the seat- makes it less prone to nicking
There seemed to be plenty of places to put bingees when I did it last
Off this weekend to Devon for four days on the bike so will remind myself how to do it- maybe put a picture up

Out of interest, could you show a side-on/ back view if you have time?
looks to me from your pic that the plastic push clips are gonna rub your grab rails on the front ,
the bottom bungees and straps are so the bottom of the bags dont jump around
Didnt move an inch.
Didnt use bungees it was tight with the straps under the seat and I ran the pull up webbing over the grab rail to pull them up tight
They rested on the rubber anti slip matting on the exhausts and the heat shields got hot but not enough to cause any damage and they were fully laden.
Will try and upload a picture of them fitted in touring mode.
Also I have the Givi waterproof satvan bag which I fitted to the handlebar yoke with a 12v socket in the fairing side panels near the front. Worked a treat and could see the satnav over my tank bag but had to lose my camera mount which is usually in that position.
No chaffing on the bodywork... only mine in leathers with so much sunshine.... but that is another story :o

I use Oxford Sports panniers and the are great, they touch my Scorpion exhaust but its not a problem
These panniers look very good, especially the price Amazon are selling them for.
How about security though? I assume there is no way of locking the compartments. I would not like to leave my helmet in one if it could be opened easily. Look great for just carrying stuff from one place to another though.
had these on my fzs1000....worked a treat

......i protected the bodywork with some rubber gauze matting , £1 from the pound shop....bargain
One, is never going to be enough.....
