Hi All, have bought some slimline indicators to replace the originals, how ever i can not figure out have to fit them with the blanking plate i bought with them (got them from street bike in birmingham).

So has any one fitted aftermarket indicators with the blanking plate and have you got any pictures?

Cheers

  an old golfer
Posted by: snapper - 20-03-12, 11:25 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

An elderly golfer comes in after a good round of golf at the new course
and heads straight to the bar/restaurant area of the club house.
As he passes through the swinging doors, he spots a sign hanging over
the bar that reads:
COLD BEER: $5.00
HAMBURGER: $10.00
CHEESEBURGER: $15.50
CHICKEN SANDWICH: $18.50
HAND JOB: $250.00
Checking his wallet to be sure he has the necessary money, the old
golfer walks up to the bar and beckons to the exceptionally attractive
female bartender who is serving drinks to a couple of sun-wrinkled golfers.
She glides down behind the bar to the old golfer.
“Yes?” she inquires with a wide, knowing smile. “May I help you sir?”
The old golfer leans over the bar and whispers, “I was wondering young
lady, are you the one who gives the hand-jobs around here?”
She looks into his wrinkled eyes and with a wide smile purrs, “Yes sir,
I sure am.”
The old golfer leans in even closer and into her left ear says softly,
“Well then, be sure to wash your hands real good,

because I want a
cheeseburger.”

  Odometer pinouts

Hello,

Do you maybe know pinouts of Fzs 600 '00 odometer pinouts? I am planning to connect some DIY electronics to it - I need to read RPMs, speed and neutral. I need to count cycles from front wheel and from ingintion, but don't know which cables do what Smile.

Thanks!

Leading a Group Ride and the Law
Posted by: Grahamm - 20-03-12, 11:05 PM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - Replies (2)

Here's an article written by a biker who is also a solicitor. It's based on the advice of Jon Hullis, a motoring offence solicitor and Len Tempest a barrister of long standing.

It follows on from the case of Ken Clark who was leading a ride-out and was doing around 85mph in a 60 limit when the two bikes following him were trying to catch up and doing over 100mph and the implication was that, as he was lead rider, his speed was an aggravating factor in the actions of the other two bikers' speeding.

Despite the way this was reported in the media, it seems that things aren't as bad as has been made out:

(PS Mods: I'd suggest making this a sticky because it's very useful info)

  Stickers
Posted by: 1967fazer - 20-03-12, 09:28 PM - Forum: Your Suggestions and How you can help - Replies (49)

This may have been mentioned before, but what are the chances doing some stickers of some sort? I was out on Sunday and saw several Fazers about, would be good if we had an identifying sticker so we know when some one else is in the club. Any thoughts on this subject or has it been discussed before?
