Here's an article written by a biker who is also a solicitor. It's based on the advice of Jon Hullis, a motoring offence solicitor and Len Tempest a barrister of long standing.
It follows on from the case of Ken Clark who was leading a ride-out and was doing around 85mph in a 60 limit when the two bikes following him were trying to catch up and doing over 100mph and the implication was that, as he was lead rider, his speed was an aggravating factor in the actions of the other two bikers' speeding.
Despite the way this was reported in the media, it seems that things aren't as bad as has been made out:

(PS Mods: I'd suggest making this a sticky because it's very useful info)

This may have been mentioned before, but what are the chances doing some stickers of some sort? I was out on Sunday and saw several Fazers about, would be good if we had an identifying sticker so we know when some one else is in the club. Any thoughts on this subject or has it been discussed before?

I've got a +4 degree advancer on my full monty gen 1 fazer. There isn't that much of a difference compared to the standard advancer, but i also have a stock fazer with only a fairly quite race can (venom) fitted and was wondering if an ignition advancer would improve it. I know the best thing to do is fit an ivans kit, but i've already got one of those! 8) and just wanted a fairly cheap way to get crisper throttle response and also remove the very slight surging you get with the stock bike. Cheers in advance - Get it! :rollin
