There has to be one (or two) in the font of knowledge that is FOC-U
How much should I be paying for 56 m2? No steps, manhole covers etc to negotiate, no retaining wall needed, so a simple job.
Been quoted 5400, using Grade 1 MOT instead of the - forget its name - yellow hardcore alternative? Thats from a company that are known to be pricey, but do a good job (in theory anyway, neighbours drive is dropping a bit where the car wheels run (but not, bizarrely, where the car is normally parked!). Its Beamish cobbles too, not yer standard blocks.
Is it close to a decent price? Got another guy coming tomorrow, much smaller outfit, see what he says...

is it normal to see a small pool of water/greasy stuff on the floor from where the breather tubes exit beside the brake switch, i noticed the othe day that the tubes were not in the right place and the one that comes from the left hand side tank when sat on the bike was cut where it goes underneath the side of the coolant tank attached it back with plastic ties and the plastic clear tube stopper that was there and since then ive had the small pool is this norm??
i noticed when i took the clear plactic tube stopper out there was a lot of water in the pipe ??

Hi guys , yet again I find myself needing all of your advice.
This morning when I went to start my fazer 1000 there was a back fire and vapour came out from under the seat, quickly took the seat off and lifted the tank and could not see anything out of the ordinary. I have recently given the bike a service and took it on 30 miles ride ( to squires and back ) for a test ride with no problems. Can anybody tell me why this has happended? will it be ok to keep riding it or is there something i need to look for.
Again thanks for your help and advice I'm suppose to be going to the lakes today and don't know what to do, I have just started the bike again with no issues
Thank you
Crew

Bar end removal |

Any thoughts on how to remove a seized bar end? The hex screw has seized and now has been rounded off, i was thinking of just hacksawing it off just at the space between it and the handle bars. But will it all come out or will bits of it still be up inside the handle bars. Or is drilling the screw out the easier option.
