I won't forget that place for while!
Just enjoying a lovely sunday morning ride heading to Bourne until I got to Bitchfield when a young lad coming the other way decided to do a right turn. :eek
So looking for a new generation 1 Fazer 1000 judging by the amount of debris on the road. ( Insurers are assessing at the mo. ) A Bike similar to the "certs" would be ideal or if anyone can recommend a better bike let me know.
There's no rush as a fractured pelvis will take about 12 weeks to sort itself out. :'(

A few summers ago I set off from Wicklow in bright sunshine only to experience monsoon conditions crossing the mountains to Dublin.
Still remember sheltering under a tree with boots full of water, lighter that refused to work and totally demoralised by "wet underpant" syndrome. However later that day found me riding west towards Galway & a beautiful sunset. Moral? No pain no gain?

Funny thing since hosepipe bans announced we seem to have had nothing but rain! Like most foccers I daresay I pay more attention to weather forecasts than perhaps car drivers. Was looking forward to a ride tomorrow but our lovely weather girl smilingly tells me to expect strong winds & torrential rain tomorrow! Our water in Birmingham comes from the Frankley reservoir that links by pipeline to Elan Valley reservoirs 75 miles away. Last summer the Welsh reservoirs were well down(June) & after another dry winter-I guess its going to take a lot more rainfall to fill them up.

Hi all, I am doing a tour of ireland in a few weeks with a mate.
I m looking for a tail pack to accompany my Knox backpack but cant decide what one..
at the moment i am torn between an Oxford X40 or X30 or even the kriega us30 combo.
I like the quick release ability of all 3 packs and that is what draws me the most as i may need to take it off possibly multiple times in a day.
I am swaying more towards the Kriega at the present time..
Your thoughts?
