POSSIBLY For Sale Gen1 2002 FZS1000 PASSENGER GRAB HANDLES...IN BLACK!
Posted by: know your limitations - 20-04-12, 02:47 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (1)

Fitted a Givi Monorack to my bike and as I use the topbox every day, I'm pretty sure I don't need the original grab handles.
Before anyone gets too excited though, I'm not going to give these away as they are in very good order and hard to get hold of (I mean they're rare. They're obviously easy to get hold of because they are grab handles! :rollin  )

They even still have the rubber body protectors around the mounting points.

I may end up keeping them to revert to the bike to standard in the future if no suitable offers come in.

So if you're interested, make me an offer. The worst I can say is no Wink

  SP exhaust can from ebay
Posted by: greenman - 19-04-12, 11:31 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

I remember seeing a while ago a post about SP exhaust from ebay and wether it would pass MOT.
Just over a year ago i purchased an SP can and it passed the MOT but it was one of the advisories for being a little on the loud side
On a personal note i think it sounds nice with out letting the whole town i'm going out and it looks good, slightly smaller than the original
and my bike runs smoother than it did before.
Has anyone got one of them and how did you find it?

  wifi help please
Posted by: chilly - 19-04-12, 06:45 PM - Forum: General - Replies (11)

can anybody help me with setting a password on a virgin media wifi thing. weeks ago i thought it was running a bit slow and both mine and the wifes wifi connections on the phones are slow too. i looked today at devices connected to this pooter and found our stuff and JA-KOMPUTER as well. i suspect the poles that live next door but i would rather fix it this way than go round and bludgeon them all to death (i am close to that now) help to save the lives of some bastards that never leave the house and chainsmoke all the live long day! my house smells of fags now as does the other side of them. me bloods boiling :grumble i thought i had set a password when we got it but obviously not  :grumble

  Seat rejuvination
Posted by: james43 - 19-04-12, 06:25 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (7)

Hi peeps,

Got a 55 Gen1 thats now looking sweet after alot of hard graft.

I will post so pic's shortly.

The big letdown is the seat its in good condition no rips and not out of shape

But it just looks weathered and is letting my sweet newly sprayed gun metal grey ride down.

Any suggestions on cleaners or polish perhaps

Or do I just bite the bullet and get a new seat or cover.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
