I'm after a lower rhs (as you sit on bike) fork leg for my 03 FZS1000, cosmetic condition not really important but a working compression adjuster is.

  Daytona Boots
Posted by: Tefer - 26-04-12, 02:00 PM - Forum: General - Replies (5)

Hey,

I bought some Daytona Boots from Hein-Gericke, i was reading the instructions on care and it said to use their brand of polish to keep them from drying out and make them long lasting. I was thinking of buying it from link below:

http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/produ...polish/146

I then seen a Water Preservative stuff from Daytona too, see below:

http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/produ...vative/327

My question is, should i buy both and can i apply both or will the polish suffice? I have normal boot dubbing in the house, not sure if this would work as boots are Gore-Tex, want them to last as they were not cheap.

Any Thoughts Appreciated

  replacing downpipes
Posted by: clayt74 - 26-04-12, 01:40 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (14)

Hi all,
Ive got to try and replace my original downpipes at the weekend for some nice shiny motad ones, i have been spraying the header bolts with plus gas all week to hopefully ease the chances of stripping or snapping studs Sad

anyway my question is; is it necessary or advisable to remove the radiator before trying to remove the downpipes??
or should it be simple enough just using extension bars?

any advice greatfully recieved.

Cheers

  anal bike cleaning
Posted by: Gromit - 26-04-12, 11:58 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (5)

Now the good weathers approaching (apparently) alot of friends are starting the anal bike clean. I fully appreciate the effort put into make the bikes look nic. e. but riding all year through and trying to keep the fzs looking tidy makes them look anal. theyd replace any nut or bolt the shows any sign of corrosion. just get out and enjoy the ride! your bikes dont see the rain. theyll be fine!!

Not that I'm easily diverted from, oh look, a bear, from current thoughts and plans, but...

Man, that bear is dancing wearing a grass skirt and coconuts.
Anyway.

How about heading over to Germany for the International Fazer Meet toward the end of July?
Or we could take the tents, piss off over there 6th July and not come back until August?
