Hi all, have an issue ive just discovered with my 02.. basically when you press the passing light all the lights on the clocks flash as if you had just turned the ignition on?. It only seems to do it the first time you flash the lights then works as it should. Bike doesnt cut out or anything.
Anyone else came across this?
thanks, Alex.

Bought one of these last October and it has been superb!
I reckon in 7 months it's paid for itself at least twice over in saved labour costs.
I thought it would only be a short-term offer but it looks like they're still doing them.
It's weird though because if you go in the store, it's not on display but other more expensive and less well-equipped sets are.
However..... if you reserve it through the website here and take your reservation number in with you, they produce one from out the back and Bob's your uncle.

The experience is bit like collecting your regular copy of Razzle in the 1980's....... apparently :lol
A very strange set-up as I think they'd sell shed loads if they were on display.
So far I've only had to top up with a 32mm for the rear axle nut.
I know there will be other bits and pieces to add but for £60!!!?

Right I have a copy of a fazer 1000 belly pan on my bike, and its looking putty tired, I was told by the previous onerous that it came some one on the owners club many year ago. Does any one know if they are still available? How much genuine ones from YAMAHA? Or shouldn't I ask ?

I should have thought to take a picture....at Donnington WSB the other day there was a dealer who had a nakid FZ8 on show in yellow...yellow wheels too....it looked really good.
They also had a faired fazer8 in anniversary colours....again looking good.
Just sort the price and the suspension Yamaha

.............ALWAYS!! ALWAYS!! wear foccing thick gloves when taking out a bearing race from the oven at @200c.
bearing races cool down VERY quickly when placed onto a frozen steering stem.
it helps to have a mate with a press when things go horribly wrong.
here endeth the lesson

Am I right in thinking that the static setting that equates to Ivan's method is to set the TPS so that the tacho flicks between 5k and 10k?
And what size are the screws? I just mullered one.
Thanks
