Hi all,

Bought an FZS600 (03) in blue a month ago and have done around 1000 miles on it. Wasn't sure about it at first but warming to it with every ride. Last bike was a TDM850 and I'm a bit tall and a bit lardy so getting used to the smaller dimensions and less torque but loving the around town drivability and handling, so much so that I need to get new tyres next week (PR2s).

Looking forward to contributing in some small way to the forum and getting to know you all.

Cheers,
Bob Smile

  Why, who cares?

When I've put a bit of time and thought into my contribution to add to the comments of others, I press POST, and it comes back telling me that whilst I was typing, someone else has added a comment. WHY? Yes, I just may want to revise mine, but had I pressed post a little earlier, I wouldnt have been able to. WHY too, does it delete the comment I'm wanting to post, so that I have to start all over again? I just can't be bothered!

ok fellas, i fully understand your reluctance to `loan` me your pride and joys for a little trial and error session, so maybe a few of you would be kind enough to do a quick running test on your machines (fzs600 gen 1 ) and give me some feedback if you could. ok, all i need you to do is start up the bike and let it just idle. now place hand (or whatever Big Grin ) on the fuel pump and count approx how many `pulses` per count of five seconds there are. next, increase and hold revs at approx 5000 rpm and count `pulses` again for another count of 5. This may sound a bit silly but it will help me calculate a more accurate fuel flow reading. please help us on this one fellas. I really do appreciate your help. cheers Ade.

  swing arm exchange
Posted by: squidgy - 18-05-12, 03:53 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (9)

Not sure if it been asked on here yet but out of curiosity does anyone know what swing arms pretty much swap straight over on to 2001 Fazer so that you can have the bigger 180 tyre on.

like r1, r6, fazer1000, newer fz6 etc or off honda kawasaki suzuki anything just want to change and upgrade suspension at the same time.

Thanks in advance people.

Hi, I am Jon.

I bought a Fazer by accident, not my first choice after owning a VFR, Super Blackbird it was not up there on my wish list, however now it's just mad it over the 1000 mile mark and run in! Its tremendous best thing for everything, a proper all rounder.

look forward to seeing more of the forum and getting advice on bits I need for improving the FZ

Oh! I live in london

Thank you all

  FZS 600 '02 fazer decals
Posted by: clayt74 - 18-05-12, 02:05 PM - Forum: General - Replies (4)

does anyone know where i can get the "fazer" decals for the front cowling?

for some reason my bike doesnt have them (and looks as if it never did?) I think the front looks a bit to plain without them.
any info appreciated.

Cheers

  What battery?
Posted by: shooter - 18-05-12, 01:41 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (4)

What battery do I need for a 2002 Fazer 1000?? Looking online some shopes are selling CT12B-4 and some are selling CT14B-4, both claiming to be correct. The battery I've just removed from my bike because it died unexpectedly was a CT12B-4.
