will the bigger 22 litre tanks fit on a 98 model bike?
mine has the 18 litre tank, and that extra gallon would come in massively useful when im doing min. 400 miles a week!

Contract is up later this month so am thinking of upgrading to a smart phone, which may cause confusion as I have been using a Nokia 6230i for the last 6 or so years :lol
So, which one to go for? Once I have a good idea of phones then it's search the best tariff time. Currently with o2.
Are they all much of a muchnesss, or are iPhones the one to have?

I've been lucky enough to have been selected to work in London for the olympics as part of the Military security team.
not sure where I will be based and we are been taken there by bus. I intend to pick my bike up and then ride it home to Cornwall, or thats the aspiration however I have never riden in London. I have driven cars & mini buses so know that you have to have your wits around you.. are there any tips or words of wisdom that anyone can impart?

Hi,
I’m new to the site and new to Fazer ownership. I’ve just got a black one on a ’98 plate. I like this bike alot! I was late into biking passing my test at 47 that was nearly 4 years ago (I’ll let you do the maths). Previous bike was a Ducati Monster M900. I've already found some good helpful stuff on Fazer ownership on here.

Looking for replacement exhaust end & protector for a Fz1n 06. There currently silver, not a big fan of those silver parts or the exhaust so trying to tone it down or maybe carbon it. In fact l'm trying to get rid of all silver from the bike.

After no luck with Yamaha seeming to know anything about 9mm/12mm sproket nuts I've been and bought one from my dealer who I'm quite impressed with, as they also coudn't seem to find any info on it but 30mins after I'd left the shop they rang me to say they'd been on the net and found the part No on a forum??? They also had one in stock. So I'm planning to swap nuts this weekend and if I'm correct old one was tightened to 70Nm and the new one is 90Nm but why if they both do the same job do I need to tighten the new one more? I understand why it's capable of more but not why it needs to be tighter. Do any of you who have changed this nut before have any suggestions.
Cheers Andy
