hi all
just picked up my first fazer.black 98,fsh, new tyres, chain and sprockets and heated grips for £1350.
I've only taken it along the m4 so far.I am loving how well it pulls.so much quicker than my old divvy.
i can't wait to take it for a spin round some back roads in and around swansea.
cheers dave.
I've been as far up as brecon on my old divvy , looking forward to doing the same on the fazer.
Hi rufus how's it going on the new bike?
hi
i've been a bit busy with uni and work at the moment so I have not had chance to get out.I'm hoping to remedy that today.
Hi I had a wee blast around today, a quick ride down to caswell bay, back to swansea then to cardiff on the m4. came back to swansea via the back roads.
I think I am now in love.the bike has the right amount of power for me i love how the power builds from around 5k and really kicks in around 7k. brakes are superb , the rear pads are still bedding in tho.I quite like the handling, not really pushed it to hard yet, i'm still building my confidence after high siding my divvy last oct.
the only downside I don't find the fazer as comfy as ma old divvy.mibbe this has something to do with the seat, previous owner had it lowered but removing some of the padding.a new seat will get added to the wish list.
You lucky "foccer". My partner lived in Swansea & I spent a lot of time in Wales until she died 4 years ago. We would often ride along the seafront to the Mumbles for an ice-cream(Verdis?) then up & over the Gower. Perfect weather for riding today. :lol Do you ever go to the cafe @ M&P Gorseinon or is it still closed after the fire last year? Dont envy your commute between Swansea & Cardiff-I used to do it regularly from Birmingham all year round but was in a Merc Sprinter. Take it easy & watch out for those cagers! :rolleyes
i'm quite fortunate, i live in swansea now.I was in cardiff to watch a film. I've only been here about 8 or 9 months.still getting to know the place. not really been riding as much as i like, part of the sacrifices of becoming a student.
We come down your way from llandrindod last time we came down to ysyradgynlais up to coed IAAF and brynamon and then over the hill road to Llandovery if you run down to sennybridge and then over the moor to the 470 and then the moor road to Neath you will have had a perfect day!
Also love the mumbles roads - so much better on a bike
Enjoy!
