taller flyscreen
#1
Hi all

just picked up my new fazer, well new to me it is a 98 model after all. Had a wee blast along the motorway and I noticed there was a fair bit of buffeting above 80 ish.

I was wondering if there is any aftermarket screems that are taller than the stock item.I will be doing a fair amount of motorway miles and to make it a wee bit more comfortable.

thanks for your time.

No guarantee higher screen will make it more quiet and comfy. Some screens make things worse. Do take advice on aftermarket FZS screens from people of similar height.

BTW, taller screen doesn't look as cool. Smile
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

Also I recall some topic about double-bubbles and people said they do not make a difference.
So I left mine standard (thats for you slaninar :lol )

I've got a double bubble and I can't tell the difference between that and the original. If I knew it made so little difference I wouldn't of brought it.
The only one that I think will make a difference is the one's with a little adjustable spoiler on the top, but they are quite expensive.

Cheers for the links.

The adjustable one looks terrible and for £107 they can go whistle dixie. I'll probably give the first one a try when I'm feeling a bit more flush. besides I've got 200 mile slog to London to do next friday that'll give me an opportunity to get used to the stock screen.

I have an home made vario on my 600. I bought the  adgustable  brackets from the MRA importer around £25 , then cut the top of an old  600 screen. Strangely more effective than the  genuine vario on my thou !
