Re: getting front wheel to rotate on centre stand ? - dx408 - 17-05-12 Breeze block on the floor and tie a rope to it and the bike rear :eek Re: getting front wheel to rotate on centre stand ? - robby boy - 17-05-12 Block of wood and a wedge under the exhaust headers doe it for me. Trolley jack would also work just don't lift it to high or it could all end in :'( Re: getting front wheel to rotate on centre stand ? - Fuzzy - 18-05-12 Wouldn't be able to do this for hours on end but I just grab the left fork with my left hand and lift, then spin the wheel with my right. I'm 5'6 & 9 1/2 stone so if I can do it, I'm sure most could! Re: getting front wheel to rotate on centre stand ? - clayt74 - 18-05-12 I just bungee strap my tool box on the rear seat, its just enough to almost pivot the bike on the center stand, makes it very easy to check front a rear with almost no effort ![]() Re: getting front wheel to rotate on centre stand ? - His Dudeness - 18-05-12 just put a bit of weight on the rear seat or if you have a top box fill that up with something heavy Re: getting front wheel to rotate on centre stand ? - Kinggy - 18-05-12 I've got a 50mm jack up kit on my fazer, So when it's on the center stand both wheels sit on the floor and i can't budge the bike either way. But when I needed to see if the rotation was okay for M.O.T I just put the bike on a little bit of a hill facing upwards and got somebody to push down on the back so the front would raise up. |
