Why, who cares? - dekker555 - 18-05-12 When I've put a bit of time and thought into my contribution to add to the comments of others, I press POST, and it comes back telling me that whilst I was typing, someone else has added a comment. WHY? Yes, I just may want to revise mine, but had I pressed post a little earlier, I wouldnt have been able to. WHY too, does it delete the comment I'm wanting to post, so that I have to start all over again? I just can't be bothered! Re: Why, who cares? - BIG MAC - 18-05-12 Sounds as though you don't quite 'get it' The system may give you an alert just to try to avoid a misinterpretation born of posts out of synch. Doesn't delete your proposed response though as far as I can ascertain anyway. Re: Why, who cares? - Farjo - 22-05-12 Yes it should be warning you but not losing your intended reply. What browser do you use? In your profile, under 'Look and Layout Preferences' there's an option: 'Do not warn on new replies made while posting' which you could tick to disable this feature. |
