Stupid tailgating van near miss . . . . (LC05EUP) :eek

Hey up, none fazer question "how much water is too much?"
Got a szr660 yamaha, starts up ok on choke but when choke is pushed in the bike still runs but absolutly no power to pull away
Whipped the carb off and found  some water in the carb bowl ,about 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon full and also on draining the tank I found a small ammount in there too.
Can any body come up with owt  else I should be looking for whilst I have it in bits?

Reluctant sale of 2001 FZS 1000. First reg 2003...21,000 mls in red. standard apart from metal front hoses and crash bungs. I bought it Dec, put on road March. Great condition for year, looks and runs fab..12,000 service missing from book.Reason for sale...I need a car for my new job !!!sorry Foccers!!!Bike is in South West....asking around 2650 for it !

my 02 fazer is running a hi flo filter, sandy spares stainless down pipes and a scorpion end can with removable baffles.
i haves just serviced the bike and balanced the carb's so the question  is if i run the bike without the baffles in what long term effect is it going to have on the engine or can the fazer engine take it?

When I collected my Fazer the dealer gave me a box of bits which has standard exhaust etc etc. In the box was this bit the the dealer couldn't identify.


Can anyone tell me what it is please?

Opinions please on the claims made in this auction that the exup valve can be removed altogether (without a subsequent dip in midrange and/or a flatspot).

hi just been out to play ......and noticed that wen i flashed my head lights the batt light came on as well as the petrol light and temp light came on and the trip /clock and rev counter went off them after a sec or 2 it went fine .... could this be a sign of the batt or alt on its way out ......the bike starts up fine even after 2 weeks of not being used  thanks baz :lol

My rear tyre was coming to the end of its life and kept going down. Whilst waiting for a flush week and the delivery of some angled valves I thought it would be a good idea to fit a couple of tyre pressure monitors. I did wonder if they would be ok because they were steel and alot heavier than plastic caps. Anyway went out for a blast and this was the result :eek

Have for sale a pair of Motorola HS830 bluetooth headsets, no box but comes with wall charger, instructions and pendants to allow them to be used as bluetooth earphones.
Not sure what they are worth so open to offers before i put them on ebay.

Hi all,
was reading the post about changes between  03 and 04 fazers and someone said the pre -04 bikes had the code 5LV and the 04 and 05 ones were 1C2 (I think) my qn is this... I have an 04 bike (had it from new in May 04) and it has the 5LV code, in fact all the panels etc are stamped with that code, so is mine 04 or do you reckon it was an earlier bike sold to me as an 04 model. Not that fussed but as its 8 years old now it will start needing parts etc so need to know which to get if there are differences between the years.
