exhaust question - tex1507 - 10-06-12 my 02 fazer is running a hi flo filter, sandy spares stainless down pipes and a scorpion end can with removable baffles. i haves just serviced the bike and balanced the carb's so the question is if i run the bike without the baffles in what long term effect is it going to have on the engine or can the fazer engine take it? cheers stu Re: exhaust question - CRH - 10-06-12 i found with mine?(running similar set up as yours)...that without the baffle mine felt realy flat??....and popped back realy bad on over run?..but with baffle runs perfect??.....if your mixture is ok and its not running over lean then cant see long term damage of any sort occuring??....if any it will be your ears!! that will suffer :'( Re: exhaust question - jason1 - 10-06-12 Been running mine without baffles for over six months and all seems good Re: exhaust question - tex1507 - 10-06-12 Cheers both getting fed up of half asleep car drivers trying to occupy the same piece of road as me on early morning runs down the motorway. just did not want to bugger my bike up as it is running sweet at the mo Re: exhaust question - Silverdream - 10-06-12 Yep ... agree with above.. running mine with out baffles and hi flow filter.. pops nicely on decel.. and keeps the lane hoggers awake when im filtering on the way to and from work ... :lol Re: exhaust question - Dead Eye - 10-06-12 Same here - K&N hi flow filter, Sandy Spares Stainless Steel pipes and Beowulf Warrior end can. I've run mine without the baffle since day 2 - I had it in for day 1 and wanted it a bit louder ![]() ![]() |
