  Wanted: FZS1000 rear caliper
Posted by: Jamieg285 - 08-06-12, 04:48 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (4)

Probably a long shot, but I'm looking for a bluespot rear caliper for my FZS600 MK1.

Happy to pay a good price for a decent quality piece. Anyone got anything to offer, or contacts for anyone that might?

my new fazer gen 1 stinks of petrol constantly and a bit of white smoke from the pipe. the previous owner reckoned he only got 40mpg. what needs doing? is it a carb balance or a retune? other than that, its a very clean low mileage bike. ta.

Want to learn to be a bit lot quicker, and a days track instruction at £130 seems too good to be true. So it probably is.

Anyone heard anything about them?

  Flaming June!

All was going well until the Government started talking drought! I see a small "window of opportunity" for a ride into Wales tomorrow-apparently its like the eye of the storm. Dont mind coming home in the wet Sunday but prefer to arrive dry!
When I went this time last year remember stopping to open all vents on clothing and muttering about the heat.Fond memories of sitting on Aberystwyth prom eating ice cream & chatting to fellow bikers from north west & south Wales. We even had a suntan. This year im rust coloured! :'(

Did my mod 2 test two weeks ago now, just prior to that I'd bought a cheapo (£200) 125cc bike to practice on and get into work for a week.  The night before my test this POS died on the A12 at about midnight - just suddenly lost all power and then had no compression on the starter.

Anyway, a couple of days ago I took the head off to see the damage, think I got the job done pretty well  :rollin  Thought you guys might be interested in the pictures of the damage done...

Bear in mind that this bike was registered in July 2010 and had under 7500 miles on the clock  :eek  On the plus side I sold it for £100 so got half my money back  Big Grin

Father and son are travelling down the M1 when they collide into stationary traffic, unfortunately the father dies instantly and the son is badly injured.

The paramedics arrive and manage to stablise the son however hes in a bad way.

The son arrives at hospital and is rushed to surgery.

The boy arrives and the surgeon held theyre hands up and said i can't operate, hes my son.

  Gilles rear sets 1998 600

They are black and used. . Heel plates are there but a tad worn.
One problem however.

The rear brake would work best if it had a pressure switch to work the brake light.
I got round this by just pulling the pedal back up with my foot.
All bolts are there and comes with fitting instructions.
£75 + P&P.

Anyone with mechanical knowledge would be able to solve this problem.
