Curious as to what Fazer riders would choose if you couldn't have a Fazer, money no limit. Wonder if there'll be any kind of consensus, perhaps what led us all to buy Fazers. Or will everyone's choices be different?
To make it a little more interesting - one bike only; but discuss possibilities discarded along the way to your choice.
This is going to be the bike you must live with from day to day, so think carefully...

As most people know the FZ1 isn't the most comfortable seat in the world and I was getting quite a numb bum after 80-100 miles or so - I didn't fancy shelling out £200+ for a gel seat
In Highbridge (Burnham On Sea) there is a chap called Mark (Facebook Saddlesoreted) who basically put memory foam in my seat on top of GE existing foam (cut out to take it - doesnt look any diff from standard)
Was only £35 so wasn't expecting miracles but it is very good compared to standard seat - quite considerably more comfy. It's probably not as good as a larger foam more expensive seat but I am impressed!

| Need a new ignition key (and fitting into Meta alarm key fob). |

I could do with a new ignition key for my Fazer. Got both keys when I brought the bike, but I was finding the one very clunky and difficult to use. Yeah I lubed up the ignition, WD40, Vaseline, 3-in-1 oil etc. One particularly cold day in the winter, I turned the key and the whole Meta alarm key fob casing just disintegrated around the stub of a key. The key looks ever so slightly bent and rather worn/discoloured on it's teeth.
So I just switched to the other key (and Meta keyring button), which worked perfectly and gave me no problems. However I assume this is the master key, and probably not such a good practice to use everyday. Right? Also, now I recently replaced the Meta alarm, I have a new key fob. I don't want to muck about with the master key to get it to fit into this key fob. Appears the metal needs trimming slightly and a hole drilled into to secure it into fob.
So, where can I get a replacement key? Will any good lock smith be able to do it? Will it need sourcing directly from Yamaha? Or is it going to be a new ignition barrel 'n keys bundle?
Also, any tips of fitting a key into the Meta key fob?
