Puncture prevention/repair - Suggestions please |

Been using Gloop/Slime type product in both front and rear tyres of my bike for the last 3 years without problem but last week noticed the rear was losing pressure quite regularly.
Managed to rotate the wheel through a tray of water and traced the leak to air escaping at the rim.
Took the wheel off and dropped it into my local bike shop for investigation.
The anti-puncture fluid was corroding the alloy wheel internal surface and causing the rim to lose seal. After a wash out and refitting with new valve (valve was corroding as well) and using a rim sealing paste all is now back to normal.
I've now invested in a can of TyreWeld to keep with the bike but am looking to back this up with a repair kit of sticky laces and a mini compressor as a belt and braces approach.
Been looking at the RAC/AA mini compressor for about £15 from Amazon which has mixed reviews.
Be interested to learn what other riders are using before purchasing anything.
Thanks in advance for any info.

As you might have seen in the "What did you do with your Fazer today" thread, I've had a bit of a nightmare and now I need to replace the left mirror and side stand for my 2006 FZ6-SA as soon as possible.
If anyone has these, please let me know.
BTW I'm also going to post this on the Facebook group.

If I type a sentence and then press return 2x
and then start typing on the second line, the forum is removing space between the two lines
So i have to press return three times, creating to 2 space between sentences, yet once submitted the post is only showing one space instead of two.

41 years, 12 year gap when got wed, 28 bikes, 3 Hondas, 3 Yamahas, 2 Triumphs, 1 Cagiva, 1 BMW, 1 Suzuki and 17 Kawasakis, later, I find myself pleasantly surprised and very pleased I have one of these bikes. Standout bikes for me over the years RD250C, Z1000 Mk2, ZRX1200 and GSXR1000 but as you can tell love my Kwacks, the bigger the better. This bike, 2002 Fazer 1000, could very easily be added to my short list of faves.
Greetings to one and all, from Kingdom of Fife, shiny side up please and take care, especially at the mo.
