| 99 FZS 600 - Left hand switchgear wobble |

Hi,
So I've not had the FZS 600 all that long but I've noticed a wobble on the L/H switchgear that means it can be rotated backwards and forwards to the point that putting the choke on single handily means it can, but not always, move (in as much as I now subconsciously hold the switchgear a little when moving the lever -- not a big deal, just an example).
It doesn't move a whole bunch during a ride, so isn't a big issue, but is this common?
I've replaced the two screws (as the heads on the ones I had were worn) and there as tight as they go and so there's no issue on that front. Usually there's a locating pin that goes into the bars on most bikes, but I've not looked / split the switchgear just so I don't end up looking for any springs that may pop out etc. :lol
So.. does yours move, or is the pin in mine probably not located properly or broken (I realise I'll have to look, if suggested)?
Figured I'd ask,
Thanks.

Hello everyone
Probably a familiar tale but had far too many bikes over about 45 years ... every model of ZZR (5 1400's ... what an engine) and many XJR's which I love, had some daft stuff like a Kwack Spectre, a DR650 that I could not kick over :rolleyes , had and loved a 1200 Tenere, Blackbirds, a C90 that IO could have gone around the world on it was that good (I will do a Euro trip on one at some point)
So spent daft money and lost fortunes, done lots of overseas trips, India, Sth Africa, The States and Euro trips .... and generally loved every minute.
Then last year I went over to the French Alps on my ZZR 14 and got home and thought "I never really enjoyed that at all" so at 61yrs I reckoned I was done, sold up and retired my gear to a box in the garage.
Until last week when I got chance of a cheap, highish miles FZS1000 and thought it will be ok for the odd hour or two out ... so just got back from a Worcester to The Gower trip out, back via the Mumbles and onto Fowlers at Bristol (for a drool) and back home. Well ... what a nice surprise that was! comfy, quick enough, went nicely around the left and rights like a good un and I can see why they have the following they have ... a proper nice bike!
So hello peeps and I look forward to joining in on the odd thread

Hey! I realise the FZ8/Fazer 8 sold in fewer numbers here in the UK compared to the other models. There seems to be a smaller selection of aftermarket parts available probably due to the lower rates of ownership.
Just wondering if it would be a good idea for people to comment parts which they know are easily interchangeable from the 1000 and 600 models. That way when we're looking for something and can't find it listed for the 800 we know we can look for the same part listed for the 1000/600 and it'll fit.
What do you guys think?
