Hi.
I had the pesky leaking right leg problem.
So I bought a refurbished front end.
This has left me with my a set of forks with one having a scored stanchion that leaks.
im guessing it was caused by a worn bush.
The left fork is in perfect working order with no marks or pitting anywhere.
They come with a genuine set of new oil seals.
All the adjusters work fine.
£90. Plus £15 post or collect from workington Cumbria.

FOR SALE [NOW GONE]
Bike Make: Yamaha
Bike Model: FZS 600 Fazer
Year: 2001 (Y reg) "box eye" model
MOT/ TAX DETAILS: Tax until 31 December 2013, MOT until 4 December 2013
Mileage: 36,633
Colour: Red/Black
Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: Loads - see below
Overall Bike Condition: Mechanically absolutely sound - starts first time and loads of expensive stuff has been replaced (see below). However, on close inspection the paint finish is cosmetically poor in places (age related scuffs but also some blooming and crazing on fairings resprayed by a previous owner). And the bottoms of the forks have suffered oxidisation (does not affect function though - fork stanchions nice shiny chrome and seals working perfectly).
Tyre/Chain/Sprocket Condition: Sprockets and chain brand new, good tread left on both tyres
Extras: Stainless steel exhaust headers, Viper end can, fender extender, radiator guard, spare key, both books, Haynes manual, full tank of petrol!
Bike Location: Orpington, Kent (J4 M25)
Contact details: Please PM me and we can talk
List of work done
- new rear wheel bearings and seals, including sprocket carrier bearing
- new swingarm bearings and seals
- new swingarm linkage bearings
- new battery
- new chain and sprockets
- rear brake overhaul with new disc, pads, pistons, seals, bleed nipples and fluid flush
- front brake refurbished with fresh pads, bleed nipples and fluid flush
- new sprocket case cover
- replaced all seals in sprocket case, including push rod seal and gear linkage seal
- rebuilt clutch actuator mechanism (ball bearing nightmare!)
- new clutch cable
- new clutch lever and brake lever
- replaced various fixings and bits and bobs - anything broken, missing or rusty that I came across
- new service items (oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs and caps)
- new grips
- new main wiring loom
- new fuel pump
- new fuel pump/cut-off relay
- replaced electronic control unit (ECU/CDI)
- replaced flasher relay
- replaced rear indicators
- replaced footrest hangers (left and right)
- new footrests (left and right)
- new rear brake lever and gear lever rubbers
- performed FOC tip to wire both headlights on dim switch (thanks FOCers!)
I've spent more on this than I can ever expect to get back but that wasn't the point. I wanted something fun to do whilst I was injured and couldn't ride. I just want a fair price for a totally sorted bike.
Price: £1,150
I will post 12 pictures below...
