Im Andy im 49 years old and just got back into biking i passed my test November last year
to break myself in i bought a 600 bandit very nice i really liked it but got used to it so went for summat different and looking back now wish id kept the bandit had a ZX9R streetfighter & a ZX7R sports bike i wasnt happy with either of them.
A friend of mine suggested a Fazer 1000 so i went to look at 1 or 2 and found a nice one at the right price with a little work to do
So what do i think I LOVE IT great power good looking and shit hot handling. I really feel comfy and safe on this machine.
so time to get it back to the stud it should be
new rear tyre, new Renthal chain & sprockets, new heavy duty clutch & springs, Brake pads all round, carbs cleaned & balanced, Full Service and new MOT pending.
So Thats me Hope theres more owners of fazers near me for a ride out sometime soon

Hi guys what maps are people running on their pc5 ?

As the tread says.

I have a large (dead) Gold Ringed Dragonfly that I found on holiday. I'd like to frame it like thay do in museums. It's started to turn black and lose its colour. Bar painting it how do I stop it losing its colour?

Any Ideas.

hello, my 02 Fazer 1000 has just started to slip out of 2nd gear at low speed dose any one know what could be causing this?
tryed to seach in the forum for help but nothing came up

I am doing a bit of admin work for an old chum in the doors and windows biz.


He wants a simple programme to include on his website which would allow customers to input a pic. of their property and then overlay our product to see how it would look.


Ideally it needs to be simple but maybe also to include sizing details so we could price the job.




Any ideas/suggestions/recommendations, offers to do the work for me????

Absolutely as new condition without the hassle of getting one from france, posting them your old seats and saving money....bloody love the look of it but at 6'2" my legs are a tad too long with the way it sits you up against the tank :'( :'( . £210 picked up from Norwich,£220 posted next day delivery.

Just been posted to Germany to help switch the lights off & can't really take a bike & a car across. Currently on Ebay. Would recommend anyone interested come & have a look. Tappets will need adjusting but I have run out of time & need to move her on, not happy about selling her as I love this bike so much & she is the 2nd one I have owned & loved. Devastated to have to sell her but I can't take her across. :'(

Hi , Just wondering if listening to my Ipod while riding is Legal? Dont really get on with ear plugs ,so just listen to music , not too loud and can still here all i need to . Heard through a friend someone got fined £200 notes for this , from Mr Plod .  :eek
