  selling my FZS600
Posted by: deanflyer - 29-09-20, 04:47 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

I'm selling my Fazer due to wanting a bigger bike.

I've put it up on Ebay for £1150. I'll knock another £50 off for a focer Smile

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203121787006

I found out subsequently that the bike is Cat D, although that doesnt really bother me. The previous owner says he was unaware, and based on how much he has spent on the bike, im tending to believe him, however I couldnt sell the bike without disclosing it. Unfortunately it means I'll be taking a heavy loss, but think £1150 is fair, what do you think?

Dean

PS Mods apologies if this isn't allowed.

How can you tell a Fazer owner--- when you pull up at a bikers hangout, in an area where there are some twisty roads?  Easy, he or she is the one walking about with a silly grin on their face! :lol

  Good ride today!
Posted by: Steve baker - 24-09-20, 10:42 PM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

Nice 150 miles round the Peaks again  (before the rain came!) Out with a guy I met a few weeks back, who rides a 1986 BMW K75. He was very interested in the Faz, so let him try it, he loved it, said way lighter and flickable than his Beemer. I got to try the K75. Fuck me! weighs a ton! ride wise, gotta say, worst handling bike I ever rode, and Ive been riding over 50 years! Front felt real heavy, absolutely no feel at all from front wheel, felt like it had a mind of its own, and when over taking, if you crossed a white line shook its head!  Interesting experience - but thanks but no thanks! Also had the weird BMW indicators, left one for left, right one for right and press up to cancel.

Certificate of conformity for ULEZ £75!
Posted by: Fazerjon - 24-09-20, 09:22 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (3)

Hi all, for those of us with a Gen 1 thou, the Certificate of conformity from Yamaha needed to exempt us from paying the ULEZ charge in London has now gone up from £60 to £75! Still cheaper than a garage test though. I applied for mine yesterday. A mate of mine recently got one for his Honda and his was free.
