I have owned my 1999 fzs 600 for 3 day now *love it* If it gets a name I will keep it !! I rode a couple of 600 fazers a few years ago and relized these things are giant killers  :evil  so I put it on my bucket list.
A bit about me > I had bikes before my teens [up the fields] I was also a member of the TRF for many years and I've been round the world on my XT600Z Tenere [Sally] before Ewan & Charlie  :nana

P.S. I live in Gedling, Nottingham. If any one is passing kettle is always on

Today as i was passing an old peoples home and some old people were using zimmer frames and one with wheels,,i noticed a really bad technical error in the design,,"they are too short!!"!, causing the users to "stoop"  walk with hump backs ,lean forward.

New Fazer owner... What can i do?
Posted by: davidkent - 27-10-13, 05:01 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (39)

Hi all.
Just posted up in the introduction section, and am new here.

Just bought myself an 03 FZS600.

Basically, I'm just looking at some small changes for the time being, small, cheap and cheerful mods - Something to start making it my own, once i've paid the parents back a little more, i'll start looking at the slightly costlier stuff..

Any advice welcome
Cheers

Hi all.
New to the forum, from the Wiltshire area.
Passed my Direct access on the second of this month and a few weeks back bought an 03 Fazer FZS600.

Already looking forward to some decent weather Smile
Please excuse the poor picture

Well, just to prevent a couple of us from hijacking threads and rambling on about our rambles in inappropriate places really!
Not a professionals only thread, all comers welcome. If you got a shot you're particularly proud of on your last biking tour, or one you just like a lot, or maybe you went hill walking or whatever. Your own work only please, and no bikes in shot! Those piccies go on the touring threads.
Also for discussion of the art, the tools, the techniques.
I've posted quite a few shots here and there, so excuse me if I start with just a couple more; Blencathra at sunrise:

Tonight if your bike lives outside it will be blown over and tomorrow you will be crying and facing a hefty bill. Today is the day to make friends with someone who has a garage and beg or bribe him to take your pride and joy in for the night (or put it in the living room when the other half goes to bed.)

Hello. Noticed this metallic noise about two weeks ago. Seems that is comes from the right side of the engine. Is it valves?
