Hi foccers,
Just been through the pain of settling an insurance claim myself after a car backed into me. Thankfully the idiot accepted liability and his insurance is paying out. I'd like advice on the value of my fazer. Its a 2001 plate foxeye model with ~40k miles and in good mechanical condition, excellent cosmetic condition and recently serviced. Its got all the history etc etc. They've offered £1800, this seems reasonable to me...yay or neigh?

Hey, I am new around here, just bought my first 1000 which is the fzs in dark blue.
It is completely standard and I find her extremely quiet. I am after an aftermarket exhaust does anyone have any recommendations? My budget is around £200 and I am after something that doesn't require any fiddling with the carbs and is road legal!
There's a company called SP engineering and I quite like the look of their exhausts:

If you could let me know your opinions or what you think of this sp lot that would great! Or any other recommendations in general!
Cheers,
Tom

Now the gritters have appeared the mighty Fazer thou is off the road and getting ready for another bout of winter maintenance and additions. So far my wish list for additions is a full brakes overhaul and probably a new Oxford Battery Oximiser and replacement nuts and bolts here and there.
- Braided lines
- Brembo Callipers, Disks and Master Cylinders for front and back
- Toying with an Ivan's upgrade from slip-on to full monty
- Black Powder Coating of Rear Pegs, Rear Sets etc...and possible swing arm...can't be arsed with the autosol treatment any longer.
- Full Service to include new spark plugs, oil, filters and fluids, carbs balanced and exup serviced
- New belly pan
- General deep clean then ACF 50
What do you guys have planned for those bikes that are off the road for this winter.

| Seat lock seized - ideas? |

Need to get my seat off my 2004 FZ6 but the lock seems to been totally seized up (winter crud no doubt). It's had a good spray with WD40 but the key refuses to turn at all (yes it's the correct key - it's worked in the past!).
Any ideas how to get the seat off before snapping my key?

Can someone assist please?....whenever there is a link to video footage on these threads I cant see them. I can see the screen in the post but if I click on to watch it just goes blank, although I can hear it and the bar progresses to show it is playing.. I can watch the videos direct on youtube.
