After finally becoming a Fazer owner last year, I can't express how much fun I have had on it. 2013 was full of camping trips, journeys to Scotland etc with my best pal, joined by his SV650; and man the Fazer can carry tons of luggage without effecting my comfort. Very impressed!!

With all that experience under my belt I can't wait to get to Spring 2014, throw my tent on the back seat and do it all over again!

Has anyone fitted a set of renthals and got a pair of Fazer bars in their garage? I want to fit Fazer bars to my FZ6N and would buy them of you wanted to part with them.

Driving into people instead of stabbing or poisoning them will always give you a better chance of getting a lower sentence, but this 'came to light': blame it on the weather and get away scott free :thumbup

Don't forget to keep them lubed!
The bike has been garaged since november, so decided to give her a tickle to show i still love her. Key wouldn't turn the barrel!

Haven't been to a good bike rally in many years, and I was thinking I ought to put this right. I'm sure my consumption of alcohol and other, ahem, intoxicants shall we say, will be much reduced from previous experiences (in fact, non existent in the case of the latter, just to put anybody's minds at rest!). So I wondered if anyone had any on their 2014 calendar that they're either going to, or would recommend?

I'm thinking more late spring/early summer, perhaps autumn if the weather looks half decent when we get to that point, as I don't particularly want to plunge straight back into the deep end (possibly literally as far as some of the rallies I went to as a youngster were concerned!).

Im looking for a replacement end can but finding it hard to decide  :\
Price aint an issue but sound it! Standard sounds a little quiet for me, front pipes are standard and in excellent condition so wont be changing them. Oh, needs to have removable baffle 
What do you think of Scorpion? Its about the only one that sounds okay but heard it on Youtube  :rolleyes

So, having fitted my FG Gubellini shock I realised I have taken my bike as far as I can with worthwhile bike specific additions. So I decided I now have to start thinking about modifying parts designed for other bikes, because the idea of finishing my 2 1/2 year project with the Fazer is making me sad on the inside.


The other day I lost out on a steering damper from a BMW S1000RR. But this morning I won one from a K5 GSXR 750  .


I have no idea if I can make it fit my bike, but I will be posting the results up here either way.


Have any of you lot tried this before? And if so, what was your success rate?
