hello, anyone know where I can buy a new front fairing and generator cover online for a fazer I have just purchased off a someone. Its got damage to both..The front fairing is blue.
Hi Folks, wonder if you can advise?
I've been tasked with selling a dear friend's FZ1 and in the move to my place we've misplaced the ignition key.
I'm wondering if there should be two and having the red key, is it easy to get a couple cut or is it like Honda HS1 system an expensive complicated process.
Cheers,
Toddy
This time next week (weather permitting) I'll be on a train from Kent to Exeter to pick up my new Fazer! It's been 6 months since I binned my old one into the back of a BMW and I've missed riding so much.......can't wait!
Hopefully the rain will stop next week or I could be up for breaking Guy Martin's distance record for riding a bike across water!! :lol
After endless wet or grey miserable days yesterday was amazing-woke to blue skies, sunshine & no frost! Have spent far too much time indoors since Xmas on a diet of mind-numbing TV, depressing news in media etc. So on with the gear & out with "Rhondda Red". Within a mile or so I was smiling to myself and after a while was singing away listening to the soundtrack of 4 cylinders getting busy! Celebrated another birthday earlier in the week but yesterdays ride was the best present possible-biking works wonders for your mental well-being :lol Didn't once think about the state of the nation as was entirely concentrating on the state of the roads(no shortage of water damage to roads-potholes etc). Cagers still the no 1 hazard though! :eek
Hi there folks.
I'm currently (slowly) turning my Fazer back from being streetfightered into a standard, faired model but I have come upon a problem. The guy who streetfightered it originally seems to have cut off the bit of metal on the front yolk/forks that holds the fairing onto the frame. If anyone has easy access to this bit, would they be a gent (or indeed, lady!) and provide me with dimensions for it so I can get a new piece forged and welded on.
There should be a couple of pics below, showing the steering head and whereabouts it should be attached to, and what it bolts onto.
It's the bit that should stick out from the steering head and has the clock surround frame bolt to it.
If I'm not making myself clear, then please say so, cause I wouldn't want you to think I'm like that guy who changed his boxeye light unit and didn't show anyone how to...
Also, it's 5:26am, I haven't slept yet, and I have to get to work in 2 hours...
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
