WANTED: Box trailer
Posted by: ChristoT - 09-02-14, 10:17 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

Long shot here!

I'm looking for a medium size box trailer to hold two bikes. I'd also happily take a flatbed of the right sort of size to build up a body for.

I'd like to spend around £100/£150 (max) for a box trailer, and not more than £75 for a flatbed.

Cheers!

  Just bought a 09 FZ1NT
Posted by: maddog1982 - 09-02-14, 10:10 PM - Forum: Introduction - Replies (4)

Hey,

My names Matt, 31 years young and today 4 years after passing my test I now own the bike I have always wanted. I have had an 08 FZ6 but always felt this was to small for me being 6ft2 and 17 stone. However, after looking since the beginning of the year I have finally sealed the deal on a 09 FZ1N thats yellow and black.

I am after a front gel seat or standard seat  as well as the rear seat as the previous owner has had a gel seat made up that doesn't fit me! I will post pictures of it, there only pics I have from the dealer, I was wondering if anyone knows what I have and what I should stick it on ebay for.

So fat the only place I can find the seat I want is here http://www.moto-passion.co.uk/yamaha-com...06-11.html

Also where can I buy genuine Yamaha accessories from? I want in time, a belly pan, rear seat cowl, fly screen and tail tidy.

Thank Matt

  Bike Dealer
Posted by: RobG UK - 09-02-14, 08:41 PM - Forum: General - Replies (2)

Funny bunch they are.

Took my Fazer out for a ride today.  Stopped at a couple of dealers and enquired about other bikes, as you do.

Asked a Honda dealer how much he would give me in exchange for a X-Runner.  His answer was, 'why would you want to do that do that?'
Went by Yamaha dealer and before I could even look he asked if I wanted to sell the bike cos he cant get enough of them as they are the last of the real all rounders and in demand.

Looked around but to be honest apart from the stupidly overpriced Triumph theres nothing that comes close.  So another year of Fazerness begins Smile

  London - Mugello and beyond
Posted by: Scrag Meister - 09-02-14, 08:13 PM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - No Replies

Soraya and I are in the process of planning the route for our trip to the MotoGP at Mugello at the beginning of June.

Does anyone have any recommendations about which way to go, to avoid motorways, toll roads, excessive traffic, but mainly to see some great roads, mountains and scenery.

After the GP we are along the south of France via Genoa and Monaco, and back up through Limoges.
