So, obviously I've got the right bike for the job haven't I? A FZS600. Upright, comfy, smooth etc.
Well, except for the noisy end can, lack of faring and 'ultra low' bars! (mine has been converted to naked...)
So, I'll be riding to Norway later this summer, then down into Germany, possibly then further into Germany, and maybe all the way to Barcelona before I come back home. Besides a Satnav, what essentials would you all recommend taking? Certain tools? Luggage carriers? Particular service items?
Thanks

Hi there, for sale below
Restrictor kit for an FZS600 1998-2003 model
33BHP restriction is applied to the bike when fitted
I purchased this kit from kickstart engineering please see other Kickstart kits for sale on ebay for further information. They fit between / slotted into the air intake rubbers and the carburetors. I got mine installed by a local motorcycle garage and it cost me £20.00
NOTE: There is no legal requirement to have a certificate of fitting for the kit.If you have a 33bhp restricted licence it is law that you should only ride a bike up to 33bhp.This kit was manufactured to restrict a Standard FZS600 Fazer 1998-2003 model to 33bhp.
£25.00
Any questions, please let me know.

| Overflow pipe? |

Another thread, but hopefully a quick answer for you all.
You know the little rubber bowl under the tank that I think is supposed to catch overflow? That connects to a metal bracket that also holds the airbox on at the front. However, should that metal bracket then have a pipe coming off it? And if so, to where? Just mine hasn't, never has - I guess anything out the overflow will just dump straight down on the engine - should it run to the carb or something instead?

Hey, just been workin on my fazer's back brake, of which the pads are dead (no biggy) and the pistons are seized in (big biggy), so had a look at google for prices of new pistons to find some of the topics on the old site about fitting a Fazer 1000 caliper of the same age to the back of the bike.
Currently crawling ebay for one but just a wonder if it was still worth a shot as I'm lookin at about £100 probs to sort out the caliper i currently have if i can pull the bastard pistons out.
cheers
