  Handle Bar Mounting bolt size.
Posted by: Bobthecod - 23-04-14, 04:20 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (2)

Hi all, I am currently working away from home and away from my bike. I want to order a Iphone holder that uses an inch ball that is bolted on to the handle bar mount. You get an elongated bolt with the set but you have to order the correct size bolt. The options i have are M6, M8, and M10 Bolts. As i dont have my bike with me i cannot get the size, is any one able to assist me in my quest? so i can order and then have it at home waiting for me when i return.

There is a beer in it for who ever answer first

Hi guys. Currently putting the head back on the fazer, cams lined up perfect, tensioner in, 2 full turns and then both cams are 5-10 degrees out. Done this 3 times now and getting annoyed.

Any ideas??

  Switzerland

I was planning my 20014 Euro tour with my mate last night, and somehow we have managed to get 18 days away on our own!!! No idea how, but we did. So, we are traveling through 10 countries (including Scotland and England) and breaking the trip up with a few nights in one place followed by a couple of days on the road.

We have decided to stop in Switzerland for 3 nights and will be travelling to there from my friend's (and his brother) house in Bagni di Lucca in Italy. We will be heading on from there to Picardy in France.

I know some of you guys have been to Switzerland before and I was looking for some info as to the best area, roads and so on.

I will start a new thread nearer the time with the specifics of our trip, but right now Switzerland is my focus.

As usual, thanks in advance for your help foccers  Big Grin

  Got cracked fairings?
Posted by: His Dudeness - 23-04-14, 12:28 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (5)

Try q bond it works great. It's a plastic filler powder and a glue that react together and make really strong joins. It's simple to use way easier than plastic welding. You just open out the crack, then add the filler powder into it, then drip the glue on, let it dry and sand it flat. Works great and it's really strong

Ben Hur Rally - May 2014
Posted by: hightower - 23-04-14, 10:13 AM - Forum: General - Replies (11)

It's now sold out (a very successful rally - has been sold out for a while), but just wondering if I can expect to see any FOC-U members there? I don't think it's been mentioned here, but thought one or two perhaps got themselves a ticket?
