Twin Pipes For A Gen 1?
Posted by: Only1realfazer - 05-05-21, 07:02 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (2)

Hi guys, I've got a feeling that I've seen it done somewhere before but very rare, does anybody out there have any information on converting a Gen 1 1000 into a twin exit exhaust system i.e one out of each side of the bike? I'm sure that I've seen a link pipe made up to do the job somewhere  but I can't for the life of me remember where. Any information would be much appreciated.

  LED Indicator lamps

Hi

Can anyone recommend LED replacement lamp bulbs that are a straight swap for the filament type please?

I did ask before I know, old and senile. Any other suggestions gratefully received! ... other than Foxtrot Oscar

Selling a bike - chancers and time wasters
Posted by: BMCfaz - 03-05-21, 04:54 PM - Forum: General - Replies (10)

Is it just me or have others had this?

I put the Gen1 on the market a couple of weeks ago and I've had nothing but chancers offering well below the asking price and expecting me to deliver it to locations miles away, or time wasters who make reasonable offers, but then don't seem to be able to come up with the money and just disappear.

I'm in the fortunate position that I don't have to sell the bike, but I don't like the idea of it just sitting in the garage.

Is this a common experience?

Rear wheel sideways movement/play (Forgive the wording)
Posted by: No - 01-05-21, 08:07 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

Hi there.

Just noticed some sideways movement in my rear wheel & can feel quite squirrely on certain corners.

Just wondered if this would be a wheel bearing issue or if there is something else that could be causing it. It doesn't seem to be the swing arm, & no scraping noises. The wheel moves freely.

Was unsure if there could be something else that can be tightened.

Figured i'd enquire here before asking a local bike mechanic on the off chance i can tighten something myself.

Any help appreciated & thank you Smile
