Hi I’m struggling to find touch up paint the code I can find is y2d1-pp or it maybe 2d1-82590-00. Not sure which any help greatly appreciated.

Getting my clutch cover powder coated has turned into a drama. I'm considering buying a new cover if a good used one doesn't turn up soon. However I'd need to fit the 2 bearings that support the clutch operating rod. The top one is doable, but would anyone have any experience of fitting the tiny one that is located in the centre of the cover. Thanks in advance.

Having waited six weeks to have my clutch cover powder coated, I've finally got it back but the colour is nowhere near the original. If someone's got a mint black cover that is no longer needed, that would be much appreciated.

I am changing my bike and have been offered £1600 part ex against a new bike, I thought  I would offer it here in case a Fazer enthusiast is interested in it for the price i have been offered.

I have had the bike for the last 3 years having originally brought it as a stop gap after selling my FZ1, I kept it for much longer than i anticipated as it is a great bike but am now looking for something newer as my commute is going up from 30 miles to 100 miles later this year.

It's a 2003 in silver and is mechanically in great condition and was last serviced and MOT'd by Moore speed Racing in Poole in February. It is in average condition cosmetically with no major marks that i can see but the fairing may have been resprayed but i am not an expert.

i have just got hold of a really nice set of 5sl wheels 5 spoke , any one done this swap , front looks like it will go straight in , the back looks ok but will need a spacer on the brake side

any one help on this

I have a 2001 FZS Fazer 1000 with the Givi kit fitted and I'm very happy with it. It's not the prettiest thing ever but it doesn't stand out too bad and it gets the job done. It looks like this:


I'm looking for luggage options for a 2013 FZ1S Fazer 1000 and I'm seeing this:


Now... I understand that the tail is much shorter on the FZ1S... so that causes issues for mounting luggage... but hmmm. Well, it does look a bit like a load of scaffolding hung off the back of the bike. That's unfortunate but the big problem for me is that the black side rail that supports the top plate actually obscures the rear light! When I think about my trip back from the IoM a couple of years back, 6 hours at night in rain so heavy you couldn't see a thing... the thought of someone joining the carriageway behind me and my rear light being obscured by my luggage... Well, that's enough for me to avoid the bike altogether - if I can't fit it with a luggage system that's safe.


So my question is, are there any other luggage system options for the FZ1S?
