I was returning home on the M25 which was almost at a standstill (as per usual on a Sunday evening !!) and I always ride with my beam on when filtering to try and make car drivers aware.......
then another biker came up behind me saw him instantly as he had his hazard flashers on, and I thought wow thats a great idea......he was spotted straight away some distance behind me.
Thought it was much safer so I stuck mine on too, and I'm sure more car drivers moved out of the way, as they could SEE me !!!
Now I feel that doing that isn't strictly legal as hazards are really only for emergency hard shoulder usage.
Your thoughts please.................................................

Any experiences regarding aftermarket wheel bearings. Looking on eBay they can be got for less than £10 the pair, yet a lad a work has been told by the yam dealer one of them costs aroujnd £60.

I went out for a bimble to Rye last night for a chap's final ride of singledom before his wedding on Saturday, here's a pic of 2 of the bikes I went with, the Fazer was in good company, especially the Ducatti 748 Biposta.
This belongs to the groom to be (among other bikes). It's gorgeous, the paint job was done by his brother, it's a rep (except number) of foggerty's bike. The exhaust sounds like a Spitfire, it's a Termignoni and it's got some sticker under the seat that says something about for track use only :b
Other bikes were a BMW GS (petrol tanker) 2 X KTM 990 adventures, Blade, CBR 600 and a Yamaha XT660 with an exhaust system that, well, lets just say is LOUD and if you sit about 8 foot behind him at the lights you can feel the thud thud thud of his exhaust hitting you in the face!! :eek

I am in the process of making an over seat sponge, foam cover, vinyl covered.
It is for comfort ,touring, distance, and on my Gen2 1000 .
So what , where is the biuld up,shape needed, and also not,,middle, forward, width ?
any ideas of anyone who bought new seats, covers,,what made it better, more comfortable?
